So I always do all of my symbols as movie clips. The difference between the two for animation has always seemed slight.

One strange thing that I do that I'm not sure I even have to is that I keep all of my symbols for an animation in a single library because once upon a time I tried to import two symbols from different libraries into the same stage and flash denied it. Not sure if there's a workaround beyond what I'm doing.

@OneyNG PLEASE HELP! I have two problems. In Flash CS3, when I press enter to play the animation, I can't stop the audio with enter again! It just keeps playing until it reaches the end of the timeline! How does your audio play when you draw the timeline cursor? PLEASE HELP!

@aweshon you have to set the audio sync option to "Stream", that way when you scroll the timeline, it plays the audio :) Does this help?

Next time adjust your soundlevels. Your voice is on a very low volume while your character's line was very loud. Either people wont be able to hear you, or their ears will be blown off by the character's monologue o_O

I'm likely going to buy Adobe's Production Suite while it's still half price - which includes Flash Professional as one of it's programs, so this tutorial was very helpful. The only thing about the tutorial I didn't really like was the character's dialogue. Your voice was very soft , but Leo's was loud, and I had to keep turning it down every time he spoke because I was afraid someone else would hear him saying that wicked line. Now I am less concerned about syncing dialogue in Flash. Thanks!
