@callum1131 F-22 has a lot of problems, like leakage of fluids that corrode the RAM coating of the plane, structural problems, and cost. It maneuvers well, but the Su-27 does it as well and better. The F-35 is a much better competitor to the Su-27.

No it doesn't. The difference between the number of su-27s shot down by f-15s is statistically insignificant. You would need many engagements to judge which is the better plane. And even then you would need to correct for pilot training, ground support, and other factors. Finally, Russia has been involved in far fewer wars than the United States.
You are 100 percent correct. But unfortunately there has not been many engagements between them, so the only thing we can go off of is history of each jet, and the f-15's stats on paper is way better then the su-27, that is all that i am saying.

@callum1131 F-22 has a lot of problems, like leakage of fluids that corrode the RAM coating of the plane, structural problems, and cost. It maneuvers well, but the Su-27 does it as well and better. The F-35 is a much better competitor to the Su-27.

@fluffy1931 yes, the US did arm the mujahdin. which differs from the taliban. the taliban were formed 5 years after the soviet withdrawal and in pakistan. many of the Mujahadin ended up in the northern alliance when the US went in. fighting against the taliban. look up general ahmad shah massoud, who fought against the taliban, and was later the head of the opposition, fighting against the taliban, coincidentally he was assassinated a few days prior to 9/11 by taliban operatives.

@Ronaldo123571 I will agree that the AKs are the best rifles in existence as of now, but the Su-27 would present a problem only to F-16s. However, that's only with a skilled pilot. With most of your relatively untrained pilots, it doesn't stand much of a chance to American F-15s, much less F-22s. Hell, if F-22s have the capabilities to shoot down 10.1 Su-47s for each one lost, how many Su-27s will go down?

No it doesn't. The difference between the number of su-27s shot down by f-15s is statistically insignificant. You would need many engagements to judge which is the better plane. And even then you would need to correct for pilot training, ground support, and other factors. Finally, Russia has been involved in far fewer wars than the United States.

Also, assertions that it is radar "invisible" ("they'd never know it was there") are pure hyperbole; Reduced visibility, yes - invisible, not by a long-shot. It's tail configuration made it significantly "more" visible than the YF23.

Its staggering cost has ensured that there will probably never be even two hundred units. No see even if that fight happened, you gotta remember: Why in God's name would anybody use their military tech to it's fullest in full view of the people they're intending to use it against? These mock fights are bullshit; the USAF keeps bending over because it knows that it can lull any saps into a false sense of security.
