Great choices but only one song from Nebraska! It's his finest album imo - Mansion on the Hill is an easy Bruce top ten for me.

Well we agree to disagree.Don;t get me wrong I love the song and I think it's downright brilliant but it isn't in my top 20 favourite Bruce Songs because there are many other songs that deserve even more praise than that one as iconic as it may be.

Great post jimbobm123, mainly because it stirs debate .... love how well you represented "Darkness On The Edge Of Town," Bruce's best album ... I was also looking for Jungle Land, Jackson Cage, maybe Point Blank ... did I miss Thunder Road? ... don't care for Glory Days and Born In the USA ... Hungry Heart might not make my top 100.

bruce is a genius. I didn't really understand him until recently & I just got into bruce lately & his songs are really incredible. where have I been? he is SEXY, that helps, but he's just totally fuckin cool. He's so cool. The songs are cool. the band is cool. I never knew.

I like all his stuff all the way up to Born in the USA, that was more mainstream, so there was more emphasis on singles than rock ballads that are usually common in Springsteen albums. Regardless, BITUSA is a better mainstream album than most. Personally, I like "Darkness on the Edge of Town" and "The River" the most.
