My high school choir teacher (Mr. Roberts - the best!) would always tell the audience at our concerts that although we were in a public school, the best classical music was written for the highest payer, which was the church, so we were singing it, not because of the religious message, but because it is great, GREAT music.
To those who call thenselves "christians", remember, you have a friend, satan who also believes in "christ" so he is also a "christian". Watch your tongues, as everything you say and do is recorded in the Highest. One will be judged the same way you judge others. By the way, which "christian" can sing like this? None, they keep their mouths shut.
Exelente.
Beautiful, Well done Mormon's, what ever one's believe, the sound of these angels should motivate us all to unite against the destroyer of soul's, our fight is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities and evil spirit's, no matter if you are Catholic, Protestant, Mormon or Quaker, Russian or Greek Orthodox or Anglican, remember all roads lead to JERUSALEM, Merry Christmas to all.......
@Loonieburger2 Well like I said before we are Christians. Mormons are not a cult. We are normal people just like anyone else. Just because you watch too much tv and listen to the lies of the people who don't even bother going to the church website where it clearly states what we believe. I hope that cleared up some confusion for you. Oh, one question for you. If you dislike the mormon church so much, why are you listening to our choir in the first place?
Is it not about belief in The Savior Jesus Christ? as far as I can discern LDS are closer to the Lord or more christian than the " judge your neigbor crowd" who call themselves followers of Christ.
@Loonieburger2 : How strange. LDS Mormons worship Jesus of Nazareth, born of Mary at Bethlehem near Jerusalem, as Jesus the Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God the Father, the Creator of this world and the personal Savior and Redeemer of all humanity. LDS Mormons believe that only in and through the atonement, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ can humanity be saved from death and sin. But, according to you, LDS Mormons are not Christian. . .
No matter of what faith or religion they are, this choir is majestic and they sing beautifully... let's just enjoy this wonderful music for what it is and leave religion out of it. :)
@deliria02 You just need to see how you can get in the Mormon Tabernacle when they have this presentation....! It simply takes your breath away... and for weeks, even months or years! The only thing that you keep remembering is "I was there..."!

If you look really hard, you can see Mitt Romney singing near the back. Sad watching mormons sing this. They might as well be singing "Save Us Jeebus!".
@Loonieburger2....... Why is it sad seeing mormons sing this song? they celebrate christmas, and the lyrics of this song are directly taken from the bible, this christmas song literally is the most religious christmas song that has been wrote. The Mormon full title is The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints...... Just the Jesus Christ in the name..... This Means That They Are Christians...... Its A Christian Song. Hope that cleared up some confusion for you,
@nathanmorgan1988 That's a wrong argumentation. Using the name Jesus Christ doesn't say anything. False prophets will come and use his name. Peoples believes and acts determine if they're christian or not.
(Believes of the mormons left out of consideration)
@Loonieburger2 And why don't you enlighten all of us on why this is so wrong for LDS people to sing? The full name of the religion is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We believe in God and Jesus Christ as it says in the name of our church. Either way, no matter the religion, this song comes from an actual scripture from the bible. Please at least learn the name of a church before criticizing it. Mormons are obviously Christians because of our name in particular.=/

Georg Freidrich Handel was an amazing composer and this choral group is probably the only one that can do his music justice.
