@Trickscollection Well, a palimpsest is, basically, a page of scroll or ancient text written on animal skin so it can be scraped off and used again. These were used to save money on expensive parchment. But many archeologists have found texts that only survived from under the overwritten text.

And "pulmonary" is basically "of the lungs". (Like your pulmonary artery.) So, just to guess, he's alluding to the masked or overwritten and ancient words he's spoken/rapped before.
