I saw an entry on the Creepypasta Wiki that recounted one of the set designers of Candle Cove and his experience behind the scenes. If you could read this, I would love you forever.
The people who make Creepypastas should be writing horror movies now a days. This one was fucking incredible, that ending sent shivers down my spine. Great read, from you and everyone involved, seriously you got yourself a new subscriber. That last line, how you read it...wow. As a horror fan this made me very happy. :D
This is great. Very slow to build, very subtle. Nothing pops out at you and yells boo, but nothing needs to. It's neat to think that things that are so common can be made so absolutely terrifying by way of slight perversions.
This one creeps me to the core in a way no other creepy pasta has ever did, or most other forms of horror stories for that matter. I think it may be the inclusion of children and childhood nostalgia. I'm not even old enough to be a parent, but it terrifies me to no end what could happen to kids behind your back...
can someone explain this story to me? i really liked this story but i didn't understand it very well. They were talking about remembering a show, then at the end... they used to really be watching static?
@HeavyMetalHindu Ahhh that makes sense thanks and... it sorta reminds me of that scene from Poltergiest where the little girl is watching static and hears the ghost talking to her
Wow. Great audio version of he original pasta, dude! It was really good! Also, who knows, the show COULD be real....... we'l never know.... or at least, YOU'LL never know, cause I have a time machine.
@Eminsanityx Actually, I brought up the show in a conversation with my mother, without telling her it was a Creepypasta. She kinda' remembered it. We live in the Ashland area, so, that explains a bit. I asked my mothers mother if she eb=ver saw my mom acing strangely near their T.V., and she watched static for about an hour every week or so. If you want a bit more information, you can message me. I'd be sure to tell some stories.
Did anybody else get the feeling that they were all just fueling each other's fabricated memories? Aside from the ominous ending, I kept getting the feeling that all they were doing was talking about something that each one of them would add to out of what really was just imagination and fabricated memories...
@destructiondragon360 i was doing research and found out the people talking about this were living in southern ohio and then i found a police report from 1972 in in southern Ohio a 7 year old girl named Janice went on a bike ride around her neighborhood and noone saw her again a few weeks later they found her bike in a wooded area but they never found her kind of wierd hmm
THAT was a good creepypasta. especially the twist end when he talked to hi mom, and she said that he was staring at static for 30 minutes... great pasta.
@HittingChickens I guess its creepy because, it begs the question, why are these people sharing these memories? Was there a subliminal message in the static? And what was up with the crazy "nightmare episode"?
This one was kinda boring when I first heard about it, but the way this was done-up gave me newfound interest in this creepypasta. The forlorn music added in toward the end when they talked about the last episode and everyone screaming was a prefect touch---as adding the "Thread Locked/Deleted" bits. But it sounded more sad than frightening, as I would have expected...
Makes you wonder how they all imagined it..Was it cuz others were stuck in there, trying to reach out? Haha, awesome.
And after that they say "ok lets go to sleep now"?? Why does the story ends at that point? do they freak out? what did they do next?
