True ultralights (FAA part 103) can be flown without a license, but they should never be flown without proper training. The trike in this video is a light sport aircraft, requiring a minimum of a sport pilot license with weight shift control endorsement.
Oh man that looks so fun. I think it would be nicer if they had a slightly enclosed cockpit just so the wind isn't beating directl on you. Wow that thing lands slow too, looks simple, easy, and fun. Much easier and relaxing then flying cessna's, twins, etc.
In the U.S. an ultralight stick trike will sell for $12-15K while a high-end Light Sport trike might sell in the $45-55K range, with lots in between. Hope you get a chance to take an introductory ride. Check with a nearby small airport and see if there are any trikers in the area that would show and tell.
hey, i live in Alpharetta and would love to get into the sport. I am thinking about either building a runway on my land or getting a pass in a "private" airport. Could you give me a suggestion on what to do?

@FreestyleBoy001 any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. But you'd have to be a pilot to know that.
