  • You can just imagine "The Magic Never Ends" erupting at the end of the final movie!

  • Bloody emotional! :(

  • Who ever decided to use the music in the first film in the last film is a bloody genius!

  • This song was used for the first movie, where it all began.

Now it's used as the last song, at the end of Harry Potter.

They couldn't have chosen a better song than this one,

    to end it all...

  • We are the Potter generation

  • This will remind me of the last day of school :')

  • Download link????

  • @convixionHarryPotter LoTR's ROCKS!!!! HP ROCKS!! why would you say that lord of the rings=wth?

  • This song reminds me of Justin Bieber, I love Justin Bieber!

  • @LuigiFletcherBieber are you retarded?!!.......

  • @xingyang101 No, I just want a download link, a one that actually takes us to the download and not makes us go through a million pages to get there!

  • COME BACK POTTER

  • My children will be Potterheads whether they like it or not :3

  • I remember being pretty little when the first movie came out. I was so excited to watch it c: and when I saw that they would keep making more I was so happy but now i'm pretty sad there wont be any more Harry Potter movies. I wish they stopped making Twilight movies instead of Harry Potter D:

  • We must remember that is not goodbye, but marely farewell

  • Could you maybe give us a download link?

  • "whether you come back by page, or by big screen,

Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

    - thumbs up if you got shivers when jo said this..

  • :'(

  • Why didn't they let John Williams compose all the scores?

  • @colbykhor They most certainly would, but he was too busy creating a soundtrack to SW: Revenge of the Sith, so he would not be able to do both simultanously. They hired Patrick Doyle, but after that they didn't pick Williams again...David Yates is weird. I'm glad they came up with the idea to put some of the previous tracks in DH part 2 - like this one - perfect ending :)

  • Harry Potter and the best series ever!!!

  • This soundtrack is like the one in the first movie

  • Albus Severus Potter you were named after the two headmaster of hogwarts. One of them is a Slytherin, and he was the Bravest man I Ever Knew.

    Harry Potter

  • @jiggyparedes Yes Harry, Snape might be the bravest man you ever knew, but the bravest man I ever knew is and always will be Justin Bieber.

  • Help, will always be given at Hogwarts to those who deserve it.

  • I didn't think I was going to cry during the epilogue of the film. I'd already read it all in the book after all. Then this started to play, and...and... I got the picture of Harry looking through the window of the Hogwarts Express after finishing his first year in my mind... and then I sa his children... and before I knew I was droning in my own tears.

  • This song always makes me feel overwhelmed <3

  • I remember this track! It played in the scene in Sorcerer's Stone when Harry's in his dorm room looking out the window and stroking Hedwig's feathers. :'(

  • I listen to this every night and finally feel at home.

  • Me and my friend were watched this in the cinema, and when it played, we couldn't stop crying, literally... :( So much nostalgia...

  • This song always gives me goosebumps.

  • i want this to be played at my graduation!!! D:

  • I can't find the words to express myself and what I feel everytime I listen to these theme. Just magic. <3

  • We solemnly swear that we will be with you until the very end, Harry! thanks for being a wonderful friend..

Congratulations to everyone who reads it, we are Harry Potter generation! =))

  • I expected that this was going to play, I was anticipating it...

But then my friend spoiled it for me mere HOURS before I entered.

    GAAAAAAAH!

  • 2:48 - 2:32 When you know it's all wrapped up. 2001-2011 July 15.

    Greatest Memories.

  • Now I have goosebumps!!! An amazing track! Although I wasn't overly impressed with the films epilogue as they cut out Teddy, Victoire, all of James teasing Albus, Ron cheating on his driving test...I felt that all the characters seemed to be strangers standing next to each other at the end. But of course I still cried! :)

  • @AmethystStar28 Yeah, it reallu upset me that they didnt talk about Tonks and Lupins relationship at all.

    And well, little Teddy. :(

  • Dat 2:00 tho

  • The first time I saw part 2 in the cinema, I cried nearly all the way through, especially at the end when I realised they'd used the original finale music. It's just so fitting and encapsulates 10 years of my childhood that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

  • @Charlieg91 I know! that was the most brilliant part! how they used "Leaving Hogwarts" as an ending song.... and if I remember well, they also used the credits song at the end of Philosophers Stone too.... aw man... it ended :(

  • All Is Well :)

  • listening to this song .. it feel like "MY LIFE IS COMPLETE"

thank you so much much much JKRowling !

  • I'm proud to be part of the Harry Potter generation

  • It's like when they first left hogwarts when they were little.. oh gosh : ' )

beautiful song, my favorite for sure.

  • Argh. This music! It's just too good.

  • 0.24 and 1.41 is the tear jerker

  • 0:00 press it I know you wanna

  • And I think they didn't even re-record it or anything--just used the original track. Thank god for that! :D (except at 1:10)

  • Listening to this song kills me. It seems fitting that they played it at the end of the first and the end of the last. <3

  • @MahNameIsMeg The big crescendo at the end always gets to me, and when we saw the chocolate frog, the Hogwarts Express, and the Platform 9 3/4 board...I just lost it!!

  • Beautiful soundtrack, it concludes the era of Harry Potter very well, and makes you remember all the best momnets of it. Nothing is more prideful than to be a part of this...long live harry potter.

  • I am very thankful that I became a part of Harry Potter Era. Thumbs up if you agree!

  • "I was alive in the Harry Potter era" *sniff*

  • @SamK147 I am part of the Harry Potter generation...yeah....I am...gosh, this is so surreal....

  • the soundtracks in the first four films were soo magical and always remind me of the earlier years, when i discovered this world along with harry, the other soundtracks were soo bland yeah i know the films are dark too but the music from HP1 and HP2 are soooo amazing, i love John Williams <3

  • @Krazzy108 John Williams composed the music for the 3rd film too. That film may have polarized opinions about it, but you can't deny that the 3rd film had one of the best soundtracks in the series - thanks to JW. I have to salute Alexandre Desplat for having used JW's compositions in such a beautiful manner. Plus 'Hedwig's Theme' in the end credits. Desplat himself had said that if this hadn't been used in the epilogue, he would simply be disrespecting JW's work. And he is a great JW fan.

  • @88narayandivya i know i love JW, one of my fave tracks is 'A Window To The Past' from PoA, i said after the fourth film the music just wasn't as magical, nor were the movies, sorry not a big fan of david yates, but obv i love HP <3

  • an amazing flashback to the emotional song in the 1st film

  • Mischief Managed

  • "Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

  • there goes my child hood T.T i cried during this scene :( sniff

  • one tear rolled down one cheek, then ten seconds later, another down the other cheeck . .

  • I remember reading all Joanne's books and watching the movies...in my opinion, the best series to known date, and it will never die. BTW I'm re-reading the series, and probably am going to like 5 billion times :3. The human language does not have good enough words for this music, the books, the movies. Miss Rowling, you are truly a genius. This song gives me chills... :)

  • The big crescendo at the end makes me cry every time!

  • this music is the finale to one of the greatest stories of my lifetime. when i have children.....there is no way that my kids later in life will understand the effect that it had on people today, and over the past decade.

  • - by the way.. omg the last part!! breath taking!!!

  • the movies is over, the books is over, but harry potter will never end! not as long as i have something to say about it! Harry will always be in our hearts! and the memories will stay with us forever<3

  • It's not over - not really.

  • Will there be a James Potter movie?

  • Harry Whyyyyyy whyyy did it have to end????? omg now i sound like a lifeless cat lady

  • Thumbs up if this made you cry.

  • Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.

  • This song honestly gives me so much emotion that I can barely stand it. I immediately tear up and start sobbing whenever it comes on, I remember reading Harry Potter over and over again when I was younger, and seeing the final movie, the conclusion to it all threw me over the edge. I will never forget the magic that Harry Potter made me feel, and I'll never forget the amazing lessons that I learned from it. So Thank You J.K. Rowling, for telling one of the greatest stories of all time.

  • the build up from 3:01 to 3:06 is just epic :3

  • absolutly obsessed with this.

  • "Let's finish this the way we started: with LEAVING HOGWARTS!"

  • Listening to this will never fail to make me cry. Harry Potter will never be over for me, no matter what anyone says.

  • I was expecting the train to leave, then you go into white clouds and past the Glenfinnan Viaduct, you see Hogwarts and it fades to black

  • Question. do you think the ending part to Reuion of Friends from the Chamber of Secrets soundtrack would have worked better for the epilogue? It is not that I didn't prefer just leaving hogwarts. I am just curious.

  • Gimmie the DVD now!

  • i was wondering if you could upload this track so that it can be downloaded???

  • i miss harry potter so much D: i cried when i heard this cos i cant believe its over :(

  • I saw this in the cinema, and just as it ended everyone in the cinema applauded, it was just the most amazing atmoshpere. Incredible journey.

  • @djtamara100 I had the same reaction when I saw it too. I too applauded. And it wasn't just because it was Harry Potter, it was more like applauding a live performance. I agree, it really was an incredible journey.

  • i think its safe to everytime i hear this song it brings bck all the memories of the films

  • After a few months, I can't stop crying when I hear that song, it's all in peace. :(

  • So beautiful ;-;

  • the three death eaters didint like losing the war

  • harry potter has been magical to me throught my childhood it was a delight to use this on the end of the first film but to use it on the last film was spectacular alot of memories in these films for a lot of people who love harry potter the way that scene was with the music was a masterpiece thankyou j rowling for all the memories wt a great childhood

  • Desplat was not a dummy. He knew he had to put something like this at the end. He stated in an interview that he would be "stupid and disrespectful not to use it."

    <3 harry potter forever.

  • THANK YOU! I knew they had to play this at the end, and they DID! I was sitting with my family, and when it played we all looked at each other, and then I broke down completely.

    Manly tears...

  • I was so pleased when i heard this track come up in the epilogue. When I went back to watch Sorcerer's Stone and heard the track, I knew the filmmakers had to end Deathly Hallows the same way, and they did. With that said, the one thing I wish they did was a culminlation of the music during the credits of Deathly Hallows. There are so many great tracks from this franchise, it would have been great to hear them during the credits. Then again, it is not a big deal, I was satistfied nonetheless.

  • It's strange to say, but even Snape's memories, Dumbledore's death, Snape's death, Hedwig's death, Dobby's death, none of them was the sadest one, allthough one can believe it. Not for me. This was #1, no dubt. When only new music appears in the movies, then suddenly, from the first movie, the music come and Harry is grown up. And his children is taking his place now. Harry is a man, now, and now it's time for a new generation :'( But not for me. Harry Potter, you'll always be young to us :')

  • I would not have cried at the end of the movie... if this song had not been set to it. I just remembered sitting in the theater to see Sorcerer's Stone when I was ten, wishing more than anything I could have been Hermione, standing in line for hours to see Chamber of Secrets ahead of time... standing outside, waiting for Deathly Hallows to release, eagerly anticipating and fearing the end...

And I cried like a baby through all of the credits.

  • I cried, too much

  • I was so happy and so glad they used Leaving Hogwarts for the final scene. It really touched me and I admit I cried watching it when i first saw it. A truly magical track by John Williams which is the heart and soul of Harry Potter music.

  • TOO. MANY. EMOTIONS.

  • The very first second I heard this in the theater, I gasped so freakin loud and just shouted, "They really did it!!!" This was a lifelong dream I hoped would always come true, and it really did! :D

  • Thank you John Williams and Alexandre Desplat

  • There's nothing better then this...

  • Serious case of the goosebumps right now.

  • Thanks, I've been searching for this. Any chance you could upload a higher quality version please?

  • @RedCaio You can find the same track on The Philosopher's Stone soundtrack. It's called "Leaving Hogwarts"

  • I told myself when I was young, that his song would some up my childhood. It surely has done that. After I heard this song ( the last scene in Harry Potter ever) I began to get a tear. It was the end of my childhood. But the start of a new generation. Long live Harry Potter!

  • Wait, is the the actual score for the last scene of DH Part 2? Or is this fanmade? I mean I know it's not on the soundtrack, but is it the real one they used in the movie? If it is, I don't get why it wasn't on the soundtrack o.0

  • :'(...I honestly cried when this music came on in the theater. Reminds me of when I was sitting in the theater back in 2001, watching the first film.

  • @Bellefan1231 I cried too =) I was happy for Harry =)

  • @Bellefan1231 that's exactly what I did :)

    Harry Potter à tout jamais.

  • Harry Potter ended magnificently.

R.I.P. Childhood. I will never forget you.

  • Not my daughter you bitch!

  • is this a bonus tracks?

  • only the people who have the same age than the actors knows this real nostalgia

when harry potter and the sorcerers stone come to spain i was 11 years old =)

now im 20... is so sad... that all ends... c ya in pottermore guys!

  • @Grafalito I don't agree with you. I was 5 when the first movie came out. I'm now 15 and I sure as hell know the "real" nostalgia.

  • This marked the end of my childhood and I'm 13 :(

  • @SpilledCoffeeStudios How's it the end of your childhood? You're 13, you're still considered a child until 18.

  • @MBGamingLegends Its a personal thing, I knew people wouldnt understand.

  • this song makes me so sad :/

  • Perfect ending - I just truly wish they were able to have a crane shot of the train leaving the station, pulling out from the ground level view of the coaches to see the whole thing (instead of a low angle they used), to better mimic the ending of the train leaving in the first film - but besides that, perfect!

  • this was absolutly perfect for the ending of the deathly hallows pt 2. i cry everytime i hear it. and i will never forget being in the movie theater at the midnight premire and breaking down with sadness/happiness when i heard it. harry potter has been apart of so many peoples lives for a decade and always will. the ONLY problem i have with the euilogue is that i believe it should have been longer and had more diologue like the book. other than that it was perfect. Harry Potter Forever ♥

  • Saying goodbye to the great Potter films was difficult, and with this music ... Yes, I almost cried.

  • I'm not going to realise Harry Potter ends now. Not really!

  • Growing up with Haryy Potter just made it more magical.

    It was a blast.

    Thank you J.K. Rowlng.

    Thank you Harry.

Because it may be the end of a series, but definetly the beginning of a legend <3

  • My favourite symphony from all the films. Beautiful. Thanks for everything J.K. Rowling.

  • I'm not going home. Not really.

  • We've studied with Hermione. Played Quidditch with Ron. Hid creatures with Hagrid. Laughed with Fred and George. Fought against Voldemort. Shared bravery with Neville. Understood true love with Snape. Made all the wrong choices with Draco. Worked with Dumbledore. Rebelled against Umbridge. And believed with Harry until the end. Now it's nearly over, and now all we can do is remember, and thank J.K. Rowling for the time of your life.
  • I CAN'T STOP LISTEN THIS !!! THIS IS THE ONE OF THE BEST'S SYMPHONY I EVER LISTEN IS.. SO PERFECT!! I GROW UP TO DO THIS, TO HEAR THIS, MAKE JUST ONE MORE MOVIE PLEASE :'c Miss You Harry Potter!! <3

  • this is a Harry Potter Song!!

  • I really didn't care how the last movie turned out. All I wanted was for them to play this song at the end. Not only did they do that, the movie was a damn perfect ending to the Star Wars of this generation. I'm an adult going to college now, but I will not, can not, forget this.

  • i am a hupplepuff

  • gah. my heart just burst open. now it's full of arrows.

  • THE END @ 3:19-3:27

  • Does anybody know how to go to Hogwarts? I'm not very young but I would anything to go there :')! Harry Potter will never come to an end. He will be always in our hearts!

  • I heard this song in the last movie and said " i´m not going hom. Not realy !"

  • this makes me cry. so. much. i saw the movie 5 times and the battle sene made me sad but not cry, not sure why. but everytime the epilogue came on i balled. long live harry potter </3

  • how come this track isn't on the part 2 soundtrack?? :(

  • Through 7 years H,H and R discovered true meaning of love and friendship.

These bonds cannot be broken even in the time of war or death.

And even when H,H and R saw death of their family members they still had power to fight. And they fought. They fought for better tommorow. Beacause they had themselves. And this is beautiful.

Of course our childhood is gone but we can always find it in our hearts and HP books and films. Go on. Cry. It is nothing bad. (i am crying writing this).

  • In the moment as I sat in the cinema and saw the end of this movie I've waited for this epic soundtrack. :3

  • my life + this song = complete

  • Oh my, remembering the last scene and in tears!:'(

  • I actually hadn't listened to it since I saw Part Two, because I didn't think I could handle it. But then I accidentally heard it on tumblr.

I love you Harry Potter. I can't imagine my life without you. Please don't ever leave me.

God, I can hardly form words. I really don't want to have another break down like I did when I watched the epilogue.

  • I'm happy they used Leaving Hogwarts for the epilogue of the Harry Potter saga. This got me very emotional that Harry took his kids to Hogwarts where he went when he was eleven years old. Thats why HP7 part 2 is my favorite in the series not to mention the final battle against Lord Voldemort.

  • seems like just yesterday i was going to the theater with my grandpa to watch The Philosopher Stone :')

  • I hear 3 seconds of this and immediately get an urge to cry.

  • Comment removed

  • Dude, they should have had an ending like LOTR! You know, one that wasn't rushed?

  • @IMDBmoderator how is this rushed??? it just followed the book, and HP will always be over all of the others, thats includes LotR

  • Yeah this is actually a mix of the Sorcerer's Stone Recording Sessions "[8m5] Love, Harry" and Leaving Hogwarts. Someone mixed this exactly like the movie

  • @jediking12 Are the recording sessions officials ? How the tracks have been found if it is not an album ? And for which films it is available ? Thx ^^

  • @lecharlo93 If you have an ffshrine account yo ucan download the Recording Sessions, unfortunatly there is no Recording Sessions avaliable to the remaining Harry Potter movies although if there is one for COS I want it so bad

  • 3 persons are enemies of harry and friends to voldemort?

  • "He'll be alright."

    "I know."

The scar had not pained him in nineteen years. All was well.
