@DWR57785 Thyroid cancer is caused by radioactive iodine, which has disppeared from the region about 24 years ago. Activity that's left now is caused almost exclusively by Cesium-137. You can now actually travel to the area in groups or in singles, according to your wallet, and see the wild horses close.
