correct 3801 is currently undergoing it's overhaul 22 and 1/2 years since it was put into regular service

That was a good tour, with the Pullman cars. One thing for sure, these steam engines can sure move. We were suppose to stop at Bowral, & we "practically" flew by without stopping.

Although the train was late arriving with 3112 & it's helper, due to 3526 derailing on a turntable, arriving later helped in getting some night shots.
