8.8 is out of a foxbody mustang with my 5 lug axles out of my 7.5 I have sold this car a while ago and wish I didn't. It ran 15.5 in the quarter at 87 just the way u see it

the 7.5 has an open differental that sucks ass from a launch,, 8.8 is the way to go with 3.73s but you are right about the tuner fixing your mph. i have a 8.8 with 3.73s and just ordered a different gear for the trans mission speed sensor cause my top speed would be at 89.5 real speed, but my mph gauge would read 115 so i ended up just buying that gear saved some cash and now my mph are only off by 3 miles per hour.

doyou have any other mods... such as supercharger or turbo. just saying if you dont, you shouldve stuck with the lighter7.5 rearend. wouldve been fine. unless your pushing over 300hp... then the 8.8 is the way to go
