Vince Gibbens was the consummate professional and was an asset to the air waves in Milwaukee - gone too soon.

Vince Gibbens was one of my favorite anchors. I was so sad the day he died, it was such a shock to all of us. He will never be forgotten.

This brings back memories of attending college in Milwaukee. The college I attended and WISN-TV were a few blocks from each other.

Eventually, Vince Gibbens went to competitor WITI-TV (when Channel 6 was a CBS affiliate). Gibbens died of a heart attack in 1995.
