This is pretty good! I like it! i just looked up 'CGI Martians' and eventually found this! I really enjoyed it! I wonder how the martians will go with Godzilla (sorry but i prefer the Martians better, but godzilla is great too)

I did some fx tests recently of Big G and the Martians rampaging through a generic metropolis. Frankly, I don't think the little green guys stand a chance.

It didn't take too long, really.I've been kicking around a follow-up/ending for this as my technique has really improved since i did this one. It's just a matter of when I can get the time to play some more.

I like what you have so far. You should get the next chapter posted a.s.a.p. I am currently animating a Gojira fan-film as well and I've got to say I really like what you're doing with the texture on Ayers' mesh. Would you care to share what modified texture you've used?

If I remember correctly, I think it was one of hmanns natural textures (orange peel or wood) that comes with Poser 6. I changed the colors and turned off displacement then rendered with firefly.

Cool deal. Thanks for the reply. I've been creating my ZillaToon with D|S v.1.7, Cararra v.5, Poser v.6, Lwo v.7, and Max v.8 because each of them does something the others cannot. Keep working on this, I want to see what happens next and as a fellow Zilla animator I appreciate all of the hard work that goes into it. :D

Is this a Scott Ayers Model?? I have all his models but I believe he never made a Texture for the one you're using (if this is it). If you created this you did a great job. You should send it to him so he can post it.

Amazing vid. But when does Zilla conquer the martians? Also did you do that great zilla texture map yourself as well as the model?

The texture map is just a modified basic Poser material. The model is the Final Wars Godzilla from Scott Ayers. I guess he'll conquer the martians whenever I get the time to do part two. Thanks for watching.
