For segmented runs I'll use your edge glitch method, and (if it ends up being more easily repeatable even with edge glitch practice) use the bump for single-segment ones. @thejustinrand What I did in the video I linked you to was faster than what is shown in this demo. I aim while inside the wall and shoot a portal that is on the floor in front of the e-field in front of the button. It is faster than using the edge glitch to bump yourself onto the other side of the glass.
Here's another way of saying it: at about 0:22 in this video, you place a blue portal. Try placing that portal so that it's left edge is even closer to the corner, or right up to it. Then, facing the direction of the glass, strafe along the wall from the entry door of the room to the corner where the blue portal is. There is no need to shoot another portal; you should end up on the other side of the glass.
@Transgenic86 disclaimer: I am bad at explaining this stuff, so that is probably why I haven't been making sense. From what I can tell in the link you gave me and in this video, you are getting stuck in an edge glitch, thereby separating your view and actual aim perspective, and shooting while, as far as the game is concerned, on the other side of the glass. What I'm talking about is similar to how you get to the other side of the door in chamber 18 using the tops of 2 portals, except using the

If you do a similar thing here and then strafe along the wall as in this video, you come out on the other side of the glass. I figured it out accidentally while trying to duplicate what you did in this video :-P

@thejustinrand In Chamber 15, the glass is separated from the edge of the wall. It was an accident that was left in the map when they created it.
