And to date, the claim that the grandmother struggled with the police is one more unsubstantiated claim made by a police department that was caught on tape lying about the sequence of events.

This should have never happened. As our police departments become more and more militarized (SWAT teams), there are going to be more and more senseless tragedies like this one. FWIW, I'm an older white man, but this is still a horrible tragedy for which the officers involved should feel the full weight of the law.

This should have never happened. As our police departments become more and more militarized (SWAT teams), there are going to be more and more senseless tragedies like this one.
