@123Potatorox Strolling through a Redwood Forest is something you will never forget. Something about it seems almost sacred, if I may use the word. I sure hope you get the chance!
@curiousgeorge555 The Darling of My Life -- My Heavenly-Resplendent Lady -- Barbra Rose, and I were going to say our vows to each other among the God-made cathedrals of the Redwoods in NorCal. We never got the chance to do so. The Alpha and Omega True Love of My Life -- My Barbra Rose -- died of cancer (in Nov. 2010) before we could get there. Now that My Barbra is in Heaven, she is among scenery of unimaginable beauty and splendor. Take care.
This could be described as music for an epic Western (which will never be filmed). When I hear this song, I think of paintings by Fredrick Remington. Images of pioneers, mountain men, and cowboys. This song is a "time machine," of sorts.
Thank you Neil for Oliver Hurtley. Remember the time you chewed me out in the South Tower? I'll never forget while watching you go down the stairs and you turned half way down and gave me that slow, Neil Young smile!
@meltdownman1 I use several software programs. Sometimes more than one in a video. In this particular video I used Corel video pro X2. I too love black and white photography. Thanks for stopping by Meltdownman.
@pattylibraia Strolling through the Redwood Forest one sees that often. Even from the dead trunks of 2,000 year old trees sprout new shoots. Many to grow to full strength again!
My hubbie just got an award from Ansel Adams son at the San Juan Museum of Visual Arts along w/ wildlife photographer Art Wolfe which you can google it was quite an honor from the Yosemite Gallery love the vid.
@jackemlyn062 The great Ansel Adams. Google his name. If you like these photo's you wont be disappointed, I promise you. Obviously the best way to see his photo's is the original prints. Coffee table books can be good. I'd say the net is not the greatest place to view his stuff but it is better than nothing. Clarity and depth were two of his strong points. "Ansel Easton Adams (February 20, 1902 – April 22, 1984) was an American photographer and environmentalist..."
One person has very bad hand-eye co-ordination.

@mickeymousebiker1 In one respect a very sad story yet very uplifting in another.
I can picture your true love skipping around in, far far exceeding any measure we are aware of, the Joy of being amongst the things of Heaven.
"God-made cathedrals of the Redwoods" WOW, I could not said it any better.
You hit the nail on the head. The groves *are* like natural cathedrals.
Long may you run...

You and I we were captured we took our souls and we flew away.
We were right we were giving that's how we kept what we gave away.
(Beautiful song that I first heard as a baby when Neil lifted me right up off the ground and I haven't touched ground since). Take care Jack
