i listened to the album just today.. i have to say i'm disappointed.. there is very little of the epicness left, totally wrong direction.. i almost dont feel like go listening to them on tour, but i've already bought the tickets so.. only thing constant and great is amy's voice.. but that's the only thing and it's not good enought for me.. really truely disappointed!!! =(

@SmazyJane Wrong direction? Did you want something new? Fallen will always be Evanescence's great album. The Open Door was just a step back, not that it's a bad album, it's a good album. The new album on the other hand, can be on the same level as Fallen. It's got more relevance to Fallen. My Heart Is Broken, Oceans, Lost In Paradise, Made Of Stone, The Other Side, and Never Go Back (I feel) are the album's stand out tracks. What were you expecting of the new album?

@SmazyJane Seriosuly? I'll take the ticket's ;) I loved the new cd. Did you exprect the band to sound the same every single time they relese a new cd. BORING! Oceans was one of the best songs on the track. Heck they were all amazing. So much better than Fallen. Fallen was good but the new cd had so much more heart in it. The strings were epic. The vocals were. The lyrics were. Everything was perfect.

my only issue with terry is that he doesn't really get into the music... even when i saw them live in louisville 5 years ago he seemed kind of robotic and bored. i love amy's enthusiasm though!

@michalloveschevelle Your kidding right. Terry had a stroke from head banging to much. He had to learn to play the guitar all over again, and Amy was right there with him in his recovery. I am sure his doctors told him to be mellow. Rock on Terry, you rule!
