This is good, but everytime I listen to a Marvin Gaye cover I hear Marvin Gaye's original version in my head as well as the version of the artist(s) covering it...And since I hear two version i can't help but compare...and since I compare I can't help but realize that one is better than the other...and since I find one to be better than the other, the lesser one sounds bad in comparision...and that one is never Marvin.

That was about the time that music creativity really took a drastic dive, groups and bands were being replace with this computer music, so the road shows bands like his did became less in demand and more of a (wow I remember that, real musicans) but the syblimal pornish dumb down took over the lyrics and the Arena's, more like ONLY for the money music, inspiration became a luxury not a reason for recording, so I can see why this had to happen, still some trying to play from the raw but few,peace
