How about this, iTunes for android. For me there is no more intuitive app for music management . I am a music junky. Hardly ever buy from iTunes anymore, but have avoided android in part because there is no iTunes on android. I do find it interesting that apple makes iTunes for windows, but not android, maybe because it's a shareware OS?

Android Vs. iPhone battle shizz is exagerrated. People are highly obssessed with what pleases their vision. Apparently, when it comes to UI and GUI, apple wins. The GUI mostly magnetizes fans because no other handsets or devices can duplicate the apple GUI and UI. Try to notice that you can't do any serious work that much with it. Android however may not be beautiful in GUI or UI or is that user-friendly but it is flexible. Each has it own characteristics.There are just people who are illusioned

For some reason I love iTunes. It sorts it porperly. I click grid view in Doubletwist, and it shows me all the album artwork, and sorts it by artist, but for each song, it separates each song from , so for one album, i see about 10 song tiles with the same album artwork. Why can't they just be in one?

I must admit, when I ditched my iphone, I missed good podcast integration. This is the best podcast client I've seen yet, and it syncs with your old stuff on itunes, not to mention you can download new ones from their store.

Although the application looks nice and functional its not comparable with iTunes.

I have iPhone but thinking to get a Android for fun and testing (love gadgets) so i'm looking for some nice sync programs since Companies never make OSX applications for some stupid reason.

Anyway iTunes can sync contact, calendar, application among other thing to my OSX applications. Here its missing.If it had these it would rock so much more :)

So what I guess I am trying to say is that I can't really compare the 2 (since its really comparing an OS to a product line) but hey that's what its come down to. So right now ill stick w/ Android. Until I get an Iphone there's no need for me to really worry about what's hot or not since that's completely up to me. And since my android has been runnin' pretty smooth I can coast along real happy. Besides u know the old saying if it ain't broke then don't fix it eh?

Ahhhhh. Such heated debates. Well I can't say that Android is better than apple since I really haven't compared. I'm rockin the Droid X rooted and LOVIN' ii!!! But from what i've heard Iphone is a seamless process. Really simple and easy to use.

I have a Samsung Captivate and my wife has an iPhone 4. I'm with the Brizz on this one, it's really a matter of preference, and nothing else. While I admit that Doubletwist did give me the kind of media sync i was missing, the kind that comes stock with the iPhone, there really is no real competition between the two, it's just a matter of what you like. I will say this though, I like that DT will also sync my photos, while my wife is still having to manually move hers.

The whole iPhone vs. Android debate is ridiculous. I had an iPhone 3GS for a year and a half, and just upgraded to an HTC Inspire. I didn't have any problem with my iPhone, I just wanted something different. Having now owned both, I honestly don't think one is any better than the other, they're just different. How about everyone buys whichever one they want, and then everyone's happy?

Doubletwist is nice but the only thing that I'm still missing from doubletwist is the smart playlist like in iTunes. Is there a way to not only make doubletwist sync up to itunes but is there a way to sync itunes up to doubletwist? As in when you listen to music on doubletwist and you want to update iTunes so it'll create you playlists and things like that?

how about "it doesn't have a landscape mode" as a con. for those of us who use their phones in landscape mode in the car dock, this is a major minus. Also you can't swipe to change songs. it's easier to swipe while driving than look for the button and press it.
