  • thank you for this amazing nostalgic trip!! i remember buying the hints guide book that required you to use a special highlighter to reveal the answers... how is a 7 year old to know how to perform a sobriety test!! :)

  • I saw four people who looked like Art Serbian, the drunk driver. Four more looked like the main man at Wino Willy's with the motorcycle. Two people look like Marie. Two kids brought their dogs. That's what I picked out of the crowd at the end.

  • That potbellied bailiff strutting up to the judge kills me.

  • lol I can't help but find it funny that two police quest games, the max score is inaccurate. Its not much of a problem on PQ1 but PQ3 shows the max score as 460, but 450 is apparently as many points as you can get

  • Mayor Fuddrucker & Chief Whipplestick

    :-D

  • Dogfights via modem?! With my friends?! Oh the times we live in!

  • Do you have to get a certain score when playing poker???

  • Wow, they got lazy with the bottom row of people at the parade -- it's just a mirror image!

  • That bleach sure left his hair pretty quickly.

  • 251 points out of 245! That is an awesome score I dare say!.

  • Now ruin your reputation by making out with a know hooker on the front steps of city hall while the whole town watches!!! Thanks for posting all these, they brought back memories. I wish they'd make a game like this with today's technology.

  • A ticker-tape parade and the key to the city for busting a drug baron? Seems rather unlikely ...

  • Its a game man, come on.

Besides, its a worthy ending since this game was a bitch to playthrough. At least as a kid.

  • I know it's just a game, but it's funny. Especially as it strives to so accurately recreate police procedures, to the point of being annoying. Then they just blow it all off at the end - "You completed the game! Tickertape parade! Woo!" :-)

  • Haha, when you put it that way I have to agree. The question remains though, which Police Quest game has the cheesiest ending?

  • 3D helicopter simulations with modem gameplay? boy, computer gaming has gone a long way since 1987

  • Great job posting these vids. It's a massive effort that's brought back stacks of memories of the 80's.

  • Did she have to show up at an official function wearing her hooker getup? Jeez, no tact at all :P

  • Thanks for posting these videos!!! :)

  • Score 247/245 ????

  • great stuff. i was so entertianed. but i dont think i could play a game like this. but watching is was so much fun.

  • love the shameless Sierra plug at the end.

  • that brings back memories! I've watched all your vids, thanks for making the time to show us the great game! :)

  • Great game. Thanks for the memories!

  • Sonny got with the known prostitute right in front of The Mayor! Former Gov, Spitzer would be proud!

  • 1:03 - sweet

  • Nice Work Boy.

  • A comment and a question:

#1. Is 251 the maximum possible score for this game? It gets confusing when the obtained score exceeds the indicated maximum.

#2. In Police Quest 2, it was revealed that Laura Watts was the gremlin who played pranks on Sgt. Dooley.

  • he was asian. his name was Kim.

  • nah, she was female.

  • That's one incredible pimp-stick Sonny is strutting the corridors with. I'm going to get me one of those.

  • nice score at the end. I like how it was like, "If you enjoyed this, here's a catalog of ALL of our other games! PLAY THEM!"

  • Thanks! I played this game for the first time 20 years ago and loved it ;)

  • thanks so much for this again! love this game!
