There IS no definitive "this person is the best" of anything. 'Best' is a subjective opinion based on individual tastes. I love Lennart's style, because it appears so chaotic. I also love watching Dan & Dave Buck, because they're so precise. 2 completely different styles, both great. But overall entertainment value, I'd choose to watch Lennart, because I enjoy the performance more.
@jnsmagics It's all relative what speaks to us most. Lennart said in his last dvd that he's far from the best when it comes to technique, but his style of magic is for me the best.

What this is called is "Eye Blinding". They move too fast for you to see what they are actually doing. Thus it looks to you like a magic trick. One thing I suppose most of you have seen on stage is when a woman is lying on a table and the table gets drawn out from under her and now she hangs in the air and the magician takes a ring and moves it over and under her to show there's nothing holding her up. Actually there's nobody on stage but the magician. The woman is a hologram video taken of her.
@Pantbera .....lol. Please tell me you're attempting to be a comedian. 'Cause you're surely not a magician, if you think a floating woman is done with a hologram video. I use a girl from the audience, and so far none of my audience has been holograms to my knowledge.
@cannonbaIIJames Well, it was the only explination I could think of because it's just 2 light beams crossing eachother and nothing solid floating in the air. Light has no weight so there's no chance that the photo or video will fall down out of the air. If he can do it with a person from the audience, he can probably do with a few sets of weights or bricks too don't you think? Why not do it with some of those for once instead of always taking a woman from the audience?
@Pantbera You are definitely not thinking like a magician, I can tell you that. The use of a woman to levitate is tradition, as as the assistant in magic acts. But the same concept to float a woman (a real woman by the way) can be used to float pretty much everything else.
@Pantbera You can do it with anything, if you know how the trick is done, but for a performance, making a beautiful woman float in mid air gets more response than making a a pile of bricks float or whatever. A magician is NOT a voodoo conjuring sorcerer, we're ENTERTAINERS. We are paid to perform and entertain, provide people with a memorable experience. That's no different thank asking "Why don't musicians just wear jeans and a t-shirt instead of fancy outfits? Can't they play without it?"

@alonjunior1995 One thing I've always admired about Criss is he says right out front, everything he does are ILLUSIONS that he has practiced for months. He's never claimed anything is real. I wish he'd get back to his actual skills rather than all the camera trick rubbish though, because he truly is a great illusionist, and doesn't need to be wasting time on the crap the TV networks are pushing for.

he isnt following the cards, he is using normal mathematical card tricks, or "mentalist" tricks.
mismag822 explains a lot of the same tricks, but the presentation is different.
derren brown does the same tricks as well, some explained in his "secret" cardtrick video.
but fun to watch and if we apply this to our own reality, we can start to look through a lot of bullshit.

I wish he'd get back to his actual skills rather than all the camera trick rubbish though, because he truly is a great illusionist, and doesn't need to be wasting time on the crap the TV networks are pushing for.
