@frevirg- Yup. That Hikas thing he's referring to is something certain Z32 300ZX's had. The rear wheels turn very slightly in the same direction as the front wheels. Another word for it is "quadrasteering". This allows for a much tighter turning radius.
Mishimoto aint great,,,they crack....fluidyne...thats the way to go...and y did they spend all that money just to put side mount ic's back on???...i wld have done this build alot differently...too much money spent in all the rong places...but still....its gona look good
what thing that thing this thing or that thing or the thing in there ...no there the thing right next to the other thing by the thing ahhh ...yes you got it never mind no i was talking about that thing this thing!
Its a shame that they didnt replace the rear sub frame with the NA type, get rid of hi-cas. Use the N.A diff with lower the gearing, and get rid of the weight of the whole hi-cas system.
its not a matter of need to. I also will fit a lock bar when I'm close to putting my ZX back on the road, but is a great option when the diff is already going to be taken out as is the case with the car in this video.
really can you explain because i was thinking in about getting a radiator from them. Can you back up your comment with facts or is just a comment out there
I have to admit they are doing an awesome job I have done 5 tt conversions and worked on many others tt and NA and they are doing a complete jobe the only thing thus far I would do differently is change the leader gear
can I hire you if I win the lottery?.. Ive a 95tt 5pd that very clean as it is....what an amazing car..you actually can't go too fast with it in a lot of places unless you wanna get a serious ticket..this car does 80 miles per hour very quickly..as a 300zx owner I feel in need to take it to a race track to fully exploit its capabilities..
Damn that will be one F**king awesome sleeper with the stock exterior. Also a few questions What size disk brakes are they, why did you keep the Hicas or are you going to lock it and also if the customer doesn't mind could you quote how much would this cost to have similar things done to another 300zx? Please. Thanks in advance.

nice upgrade probley costs more then the cars worth but seams a bit of a waste though not much engine upgrared recurculating bovs and upgraded turbos bost contolers and hi flow induction system and whre is video 4?
major props on your work. I saw the 3000gt build and that got me hooked on your work. I'm working to get my ASE certification so I can start getting paid better. that's been the only thing that's been holding up progress on my Mitsubishi.
Actually you want to run side mounts because the air intakes are right behind a front mount and the heat will just be sucked back up into the turbos just heating them up even more. Every 300zx owner knows to keep side mounts.
I was looking at JDM 300ZX a while back. Nice cars. This is just the kind of thing i'd love to do with one of them. Glad to see the passion behind a project like that. Very inspiring to watch, as always.
beautiful job.

You don't need the NA diff or axel for that. I did it with a Driftworks Hicas removal system. Works great.

becuase its a TT not a single turbo honda piece of shit
TWreck6 2 years ago
and that has nothing to do with why it dont have a front mount. TT or single can have a front mount.

Orly?? Ur so Smartss
TWreck6 2 years ago
Not O'rly... you just didn't know. Its cool.
Adhesiveputty 2 years ago
SMIC's are more efficient on a twin turbo vehicle than a Front mount.
The massive front mount also blocks air flow to the radiator and AC compressor. (not that you could tell the difference between the two.)
I own a Z, you dont.
Go troll somewhere else.

You don't know what I own. Congratulation yourrrrrr dumb.

3kgt831 3 years ago
if you go with the FMIC you decrese air flow to vital cooling units radiator AC condensor oil cooler so keepim SMIC you keep everything cool.
