really? why put music instead of the original audio? good video but might as well see it with mute volume ... bad, bad choice of audio ... always put original audio
I don't care for street bikes much, but that looks cool! Although, the bike looks cool, it's over priced and the manufacturer wants to make minimal bikes so they can have a legacy without being an too old of a company. That's dumb!!
@Beastman44 It also has to do with the bikes themselves, they appeal to a very specific audience, even if these things were more like 17-20,000 which would be about right, how many people would buy them? not enough to warrant mass production. So to offset this they raise the price to really high and sell the bike on it's uniqueness and the fact that it's hand made. This compensates also for the expensive of design and testing that goes into development. Road vehicles have to be safe you know.

i love ur bikes. but no matter what u do your "logo" is killing you..i know pride but retail isnt where to post it...i see optimal sht! and i adore rightiousness.. but.. be smart.. big oil isnt the cleanest dirty for nothin!!!!
The film maker really dropped the ball when he/she included the part where the guy is drilling the bike with a hand drill, and obviously having a rough go with it. It kinda killed the mystique of a machine that looks to have been almost completely CNC machined. That and you don't hear a single rev or engine noise in the entire set of videos,; am I wrong or is it about revving the engine and that sweet rumble from the pipes? Video is too sanitary, needs to be grittier...louder...
the front forks r ridiculous how ru going to make such a nice bike and then give up when u get to the forks. very exotic and intresting, but ur not fooling anyone its hideous with those tinker tot forks.
the frame seat and rear end look really realy cool and i love the wide bars but the front end looks real odd!! like some swede or norwiegen fshaped the forks out of some pine board and painted them to match. a set of telescopics would look a whole lot better to me!
FOR GOD SAKE!! Always using that V-2 60 degree prehistoric Engine!!.. the most stupid way to spend 40,000 dollars.. dammn!.. people prefer to comment about the Muse's song instead of that half-builted kind of bike..
I read a test on a confederate not long ago, must have been Cycle World. Bike 1 blew a motor. Bike 2 had trans problems & the test rider had to reach down & shift by hand. Wich is about what I expected.
thy hve to modfy the chasi to suport the fork. instead of the chasi abve the engne, this 1 is below the engine to suport the old school modified fork, hw i wsh they can try to pull one wheelie or an indo to test the forks strength. nd put a sprt bike engne nt a choper or cruser engne
and one thng.. imgin ur slf crusng the highway at high spd.. dn u ran over a dead crtrs or sh8 on the rod, snce it dsnt hve a rer fnder... nd the s8 is spl8 in 2, revilng ur asshole... u know wt hapens nxt! hahaha!
What a useless comment. How can you compare a KTM RC8, a racing bike which next year wil be old to a craft handed timeless machine made with the only aim to feel the wind??
Is like comparing a convertible bentley with a lotus elan or a mazda mx5.
I have cycle world buyers guide, and they range from 85,000 to 110,000 dollars...no thanks, i'll get a KTM RC8 super sport for 19,500 before I get one of these.
I remember when this company started in Baton Rouge LA. next to this little Italian Restaurant Dejulio(sp) Brothers. I used to walk into the shop after eating dinner, to check out the bikes. These guys are real artists/engineers. Would I love one of these bikes.
dont like the front end...would much raher see a straighter fork compared to the inward curve...litlle more meat would be nice also.....futuristic street fighter
I'm not offering these bikes. I'm just putting together some clips, nothing more.
regarding what you called "competitive world of custom motorcycles", I find these bike elegante, fine and very stylish unlike most of Barnum Circus motorbike coming from bla bla choppers. Bike for criminals and surrel creatures to be sealed under glass with no possibility of real street life.
no proble, I run a webmagazine and web tv dedicated to helmets and bike gear with technical interviews from protagonists of this world, riders, producers etc.
usually I do not talk about bikes but in this case, the object is a masterpiece and stands on a class of its own. like it or not it is a unique bike, maybe the cutting edge of cocking about in customizing, but for this reason love it or hate it.
...and the bike has the coherehce for being produced in (high level few pieces) series.
Sub par? Pedestrian? I saw both the Wraith and the Hellcat sitting next to a Ducati 1098R, and guess which one looked common. They are not exactly my style, but they are exquisitely built and visually exciting. They look tiny and brutish at the same time, and they are fast as hell.
lmmfao... dude go back to google and search discovery channel "choppers"... that is where you are comfortable.... you are ignorant as far motorcycles go... not your fault... just the facts
Great video. You must be a real fan. Chambers is a creative genius. He always knows exactly what he wants. For someone not to see these machines for what they are, you are either ignorant or highly jealous.
People copied Confederate early on and Mat pulled it out , leaving designers worldwide, hamstrung in a wet, dark corner.
Confederate has etched it's place in history as the most forward reaching company. -No matter what Cycle World tried to do to them.
Is there a HD video version ?
Thanks.

It's not about price. It's about passion. Art and bikes cost money. Put them together and you have a bike you can love and respect.

In a highly competitive world of custom motorcyles I find these offerings to be a bit sub par.
Your minimalist approach misses just enough to make these bikes uninteresting and pedestrian.
Better luck in your next venture.
