Removing public funding won't solve this issue. The big parties have plenty of funding with or without public aid, and that's the point. The rest of the voters are left out of the process simply because we aren't Democrat or Republican.
For what was meant to be an open government, no open elections is a frightening proposition.

The solution is to stop public funding of the primaries. Make the biPartisans pay their own way like the Libertarians and Constitution Parties do.
