Old courthouse they used there was falling apart, was torn down a few years later. Ermey was cool. Dourif was kinda quiet, seemed preoccupied--naturally, staying in character.

Deputy sheriff Cecil Ray Price was a coward and a murderer...He brought shame and dishonor to the badge, Neshoba County and the people of Philadelphia, Mississippi...What's sad is none of the Mississippi Attorney General's from 1964 all the way to 2001 would bring murder charges against Price...It wasn't until 2001 when MS Attorney General Mike Moore finally decided to bring charges..Then all of a sudden, Cecil Price dies following a fall from a piece of equipment at his job on May 6, 2001.

FBI and some townsfolk displayed incredible courage, and they made "Somewhere, over the rainbow" reality!
