I saw Helen Schneider in Phila in 1980. She rocked our socks off. I was ready for ballads like 'So Close' and others and she came out all hot and sexy singing 'Rock and Roll Gypsy'. Awesome...

I was at the Philly show also (at the Bijou Cafe), thinking the same thing, where were the ballads because that was all I knew about her. She was amazing and also hotter than hot! Then she came back with the Kick and performed on South street, I think the TLA, a bit more of a punkier show, probably the one you were at but she was still great.
