  • hi their i have a male pet rat, i have had him for 6 months now would it be okay to introduce another male for company?

  • I dnt like hairless rats

  • WHAT IS THAT AT 1:05 ITS SO CUTE XD

  • @WellThisIsAwkward101 its a hamster!! SOO cute ikr that is probably either a chiense or russian dwarf hamster

  • Im sorrry but hairless rats are fuggly:P

  • wat do i give them 4 treat

  • @traynineful yu can give them a lot of things. i'd suggest experimentingasthey can eat almost anything but i'd steer clear of things wth a lot of sugar, try blueberries or cucumbers, maybe some apple.

  • Buttons: new humans can be scary but you will learn to love them!

    Misty: people bring food! :D

  • no, i will not contact you. just show me some tricks lady.

  • hamster is the best!!

  • @Blinkdelete Hamsters are REALLY stupid... and smelly... and dirty.

  • @RoscoTheRat troll...

  • @emavj97 Who me, or the dumb ass? Because I was speaking the truth.

  • Rats r gangsta I got 2 females Danny and maisy and they are awesome :)

  • @EveryoneEatsShit hey i already got my pet rat over month ago.

i think they're cuties and i love their tails.

and fyi she never even tried to bit me, she's really nice and sweet and playful.

    Good day

  • i have a mouse and hes mega fat

  • ewerewreweww rats

  • i'm getting a pet rat tommorow :)) i'm sooooooooo exited :D

  • Finally someone who knows what there talking about.

  • what if a rat does not listen and runs

  • like hamsters better

  • guyz i need help... my rat is a pet store rat so she wasnt bred healthily, so in conclusion she bites ears so im always scared to have her on my shoulder. please help mee??

  • @likerofcheez First of all your rat is unhappy! She needs another female companion. Second, try to handle her as much as you can so she can learn to trust you, and not see you as a predator. Also, give her lots of treats and she should bond with you in no time. She is probably still frightened around humans. But as I said before, the first step is to give her another rat friend, as rats need companionship 24 hours a day! Good luck :)

  • @catherineistoocool she has had her rattie friend with her from the first day i got her but they are both the same :(

  • @likerofcheez What I do is I open the cage and I let my rats roam free. They come and go from their cage. That lets them have plenty of exercise, plus when they come investigate my bed (usually I'll be in my bed with a book or my laptop) they recognize my smell, and they climb all over me. Another thing I do is I put one on my shoulder and I just keep going with my day. I do dishes, any other chore and I just let her get accustomed to being carried around. It can take months, but its worth it!

  • did you guys like shave that poor thing?...btw it has bigger balls then your BF LMFAO!!

  • @DudasMiska They are called hairless rats. They are very common actually. You don't seem like you know much about rats, you should do a little research on them before posting such a silly childish comment.

  • the first time i saw that HUGE millitary rats where used to de-mine a feild- i've wanted a rat. and the best part about the military rat- it aint got a clue its digging up bombs.

  • iel that is a nasty rat ugly bhee there are wonderfull rats but hairless is not my thing

  • u are nasty

  • 1:04 sounded like she was about to say mice

  • what was the email ?sorry

  • Reply if you know what to do/how to train them if they are 8 months+! I wanted a baby rat, but the pet store only had adult.

  • @shoemakerleve9 Old rats can learn new tricks, too. It's just the same as training a young rat. :) I actually think it's easier training older rats because they're less hyperactive and more able to concentrate on one task.

  • @TheYoghurt42 I had to give then away. They bite really REALLY hard, and made me bleed.

  • @shoemakerleve9 Ouch! That's no good. Having them neutered or spayed probably would've fixed the problem as it was likely that they had hormonal aggression, especially if you got them from a pet shop, which often breed rats that have hormonal aggression.

  • Wauw, this one doesn't look very socialized :( it's trying to escape all the time..

Ofc that's the case with pet stores, unfortunately

  • When u get a rap from the pet store do u have to get shots for it?

  • @KIDDMGK6MILE Rats don't need vaccinations.

  • i like pet rats

  • do rats smell?

  • @C130thunder They do smell........good though :D but no, not really, just keep up with the cleaning, or it kinda makes a stink fog ;)

  • @C130thunder to an extent obvisoly if don't clean their cage it will rub onto them but if u do they shouldn't smell to bad :)

  • @C130thunder no rats themself dont but maybe their cage if you dont clean it up properly

  • The little rat at the end has such big eyes ^_^ it's so cute !

  • they also have a bigger capacity for their balls too lol

  • rats are the smartest of all pet rodents in my opinion, but I don't have a rat. :( just a russian dwarf hammy named Eddie. his brother crash died 3 months ago :(

  • @moonable1 + i named my hammies after those two possums from Ice Age 2-3

  • should i get female rats? i think female rats are better from what ive reasearched. any suggestions?

  • @TheAwesomeOne8456

Females are very active, small, and are more likely to develop tumors, which are common in rats. Being more active, they don't like being held. They also go into heat.

Males are bigger, have coarser/longer fur, like to be held and pet, and are more cuddly, but scent mark, which means they leave a trail of urine that, in my experience, doesn't smell.

I like males better because of the whole smaller chance to get tumors. And their cuddly, lazy and mellow personalities.

  • ew thats one ugly rat

  • I MEAN DANG! WHY IS IT THAT CATS CHASE RATS WHEN RATS HAVE MORE BALLS THAN CATS DO??????

  • SHOW OFF RAT!!!!

    LOL

  • LOOK AT MY BALLS

    LOOK

  • hi im worried about getting a rat because i dont kno if soon as i get it home it will just bite me and stuff , have you got any tips

  • @bladetrinity575

my rats never have bittin me or anyone before. Theyre not supposed to bite unless youre abusive as hell towards them. as long as youre not trying to eat them for dinner, they wont bite you.

  • Do apartment buildings allow rats as pets?

  • @mermaidamp Yes, most should. Usually when they say "no pets" it means no uncaged pets.

  • @mermaidamp there should be no problem?

  • Im kind of dissapointed that my local pet store doesnt sell anything that are related to rats. They nvr sell rat cages, food, toys, even rat itself. I get my rat from my auntie who works at the lab.

  • @IWAN3259

I had the same problem. I've found that anything sized for a chinchilla or ferret is probably big enough for a rat, besides maybe the ferret tubes which are made for long skinny ferret bodies. Rats eat the same food and play with the same toys as any small pet, they can even eat healthy people food like vegetables, fruit, oats, cheerios and yogurt. So it isn't really necessary to get things that are made specifically for rats unless you're picky about that. Also, try Amazon.com.

  • @artemisfair Ouh. Okey. Thks..

  • my rat does not like food : (

  • @washingtonclaypictur he must be anorexic XD

  • @1234gimmeascream lol no she eats nooow! lol

  • the hamster at 1:06 - 1:11 was a chinese hamster

  • @c33c666 i believe thats a dwarf hamster or a baby gerbil

  • @ThePawnBros but the ears and the eyes don't look like a hamster. maybe i'm wrong.

  • what's that at 1:06~1:11?

  • Wow, I have 3 beautiful male rats and i love them :) you probuly dnt have any rats :) and by the way dnt judge a book by its cover moran

  • that explained ... nothing!

  • man my rat likes to go everywhere with me she squeaks at me when i walk by her cage and licks my on the neck and face. i really think she loves me, and i love her. her favorite snack is sunflower seeds.

  • omg i just yell at m rat every time she does something bad and she listens but i dontlike scream i just say"MESHIES THATS A NO NO!!" and she listens!!

  • it's naked AND lonely AND gets carried arround in pockets.

How much more cruel does it get, people? Make it stop!

  • what the fuck it has poop in its but lol nice vid

  • @koolaidkid36

    xD They are mega cute!

^~^ i meet one the other day, and he was sooo sweet, and just mega adorable.

  • @ORSUMfezbubble yeah I love them I have one hairless and one haired, but i have had a hairless before and just love them! they are cute (:

  • you shawed him with grass choper :-D

  • male rats have balls, yes ^^

    you can see them

  • ihihhihihihihihihihihhihihihihihihihhihihihihhihihihihihih lol

  • @sestiesses THATS HIS ASS

  • I love rats and this guy seems so smart, but he is strange looking. i would still love him just the same.

  • that rat is ugly

  • My rat listens to her name but I didn't really train her I just got lucky =P

  • i have a ratt :] he is so cute!

whenever i open the bottom door he knows its dinner time Lol

  • cute!

  • No affence but that rat is ugly as, it looks bald. I got a pet rat and she's so cute. I trained her to react to a certain noise which indicates it's food time, so she will emerge from where ever she is and look.

  • hey!!! Its just hairless you where no different when you where a baby but it stays with him forever... not his choice!

  • why r u comparing a rat and baby

  • Lol owned.

  • makes no difference in the fact that it's really ugly ^^

  • not really I think that he's really cute actually if you don't like how the hairless rat looks then don't go posting that here

  • it's not that cute, but they can't help it. It doesn't really make a difference.
