  • Terrific version of this classic by one of the great, underrated singers of the radio and early TV era. As a child I saw her on TV a few times. She had a voice that stayed in you head long after she finished singing. Thank you for the post.

  • Sitting here, teary-eyed. No one ever sang it, or said it better. Brava Connee Boswell. Thank you Neffs,.

  • wow ! what a beautiful version of this classic ....I love her voice, her phrasing, the pure sentiment and warmth in her voice...I am embarrassed to admit that I have only just discovered her . I am an old man and should have been aware of this brilliant artist much sooner...but better late than never and I want to thank you for that !

  • @miltsar There's a lot more Boswell here on this site to find and enjoy. A true weatlh of riches, Boswell-style. Thanks for taking time to comment!

  • Terrific! In the 1950s Connee, Doris

Day, and Denise Lor all recorded

singles of "If I Give My Heart To You.

Each record did very well. I am hoping

    someone will post Connee's version.

  • I have Connee's version at home. I also have a super rare filmed performance of this song she did for a 1955 March of Dimes TV commercial. Maybe I'll post that at some point as well.

  • beautiful recording ..

  • The very best....
