This is probably obvious, but Ditto is named after the phrase that people use when they agree wiht something.

@jordanliow Actually, "Ditto" basically means "the same as previously mentioned". So it's basically like repeating whatever was said last, but as a shortcut. So that's SORT of like agreeing, but technically just means you repeat/copy what was last stated.

It's why if you're writing and want to repeat something from a line above, you use "ditto marks" which are basically like quote marks. And some early copying machines were called "Ditto Machines."
