I installed mach3 and when running the motors (etepper motors nema23 - 280 oz.), the motors do not run smopothly , therey run and stop, run and stop repeatedly until they finish the cycle. and sometimes in the middle of the cycle they run smoothly for a second or so and then go back to their weird motion.
In the mortor tune window, the motor is set to a very low speed o inches per min. If I go to 20, the motor slides. my e.mail ragheblatif@gmail.com
Two things that I can think of that would cause this.
Computer- I have had computers that wouldn't send out a good signal commands. I try to stay with 2.5 hz CPU or new and a desktop.
Driver-If you are using old or cheap drives than you can be missing steps. The old drives can't keep up with new computers. You can try slowing Mach3 Kernel speed down.
I have a couple questions for you. I am trying to setup Mach3 to use with these TB6560 chinese kits from ebay. I have things somewhat working, but I can't get the feedrate anyhigher than 15 in per. I have the steps at 4000, in the tuning section with 120 velocity and 4. If I run a gcode with any higher than a F15, then motors have no torque. I can stop with my fingers. I have set board to 1/2 step. Not too sure what decay mode is. I noticed you have numbers in Step and Dir Pulse. What's this.
One of two problems. Motor is not strong enough. Or the drives can't supply enough power.
Your first problem was getting the chinese kit. I started out trying to be cheap and wasted about 3-4 years trying to figure out my problem. I now use Gecko G540 and they work great.
Do you understand that the faster a stepper motor goes the weaker it is?
plz
i want the link to download it
plz?
