  • yep time for awakening

  • This song is so true. Us, right now, being on the computer or cell phone, is even an example of what he's talking about here. Like George Carling said, everyone has been bought off by gismos and toys. We keep losing our humanity more and more everyday.

  • @djda99 indeed.. It's both incredibly sad and very awesome.

  • John Fogerty invited Mark Knopfler in this song to play credit to him. In an interview he said that he, himself, was capable of getting the sound of Mark Knopfler, but he wanted him to play the part, crediting him for bringing that particular sound in guitar.

  • This sounds So much like The Dire Straights! Wonder if this came out before "Sultans Of Swing", if so: LAWSUIT!

  • @drumlord420 same guy

  • @mattieijs really? the guitarist?

  • @mattieijs what? who?

  • @drumlord420 Mark knopfler also plays guitar on this

  • @mattieijs huh...no doubt.

  • ....."They've all gone to another dimension... nobody here anymore"....

  • maybe it's me but it sounds like brother to Sultans of Swing...similar chord progression.

  • @wanbcwboy Mark Knopfler style obviously! Mark plays guitar on this but it's John who wrote it
