You got okay CPU, however your GPU is crap, and is effectively bottlenecking your system. For this kind of system you should've went for a dual core at most.

Also what's the point of 650W PSU? It's a really huge overkill.

The Motherboard too could be better.

@joshhua5 I still use it (up'ed the ram + win7) and it devours pretty much every game i throw at it. The latest ones being codmw2 and Assassins 2. Maxed these two out at 1650x1080. I also have an acer laptop which is pretty high end. I dont get why people bother with expensive hardware upgrades when all your old box needs is some good maintenance and cleaning every now and then. All these idiots can happily waste a couple o' grand every year to gain that 5 extra fps boost, I couldnt care less.

erm, yea it would, ifact it would be better having it at the other side cus u could also have a rear exhaust fan pulling the war air from the fan straight out, lol

i already have a rear fan, and a fan at the front which is why i need a fan in the mid section so that cool air flows the front and the rear fan acts as an exhaust. having a fan in the middle also keeps my hard drive and other parts cool. In any case, my ram isnt blocked although its about 2mm away from the fan.

I just bought a new comp. but when warrante runs out. i plan to take it out of its case and put it in a antec 900 :D its got Q6600. im gonna overclock it. 4GB of ram. 640Gig harddrive and a shitty ATI Radeon HD3650. but i will get bigger power supply and maybe new motherboard. for my 9800GTX Superclocked X2. my dream XD

you see. vista is totaly for gaming, but when you look at just raw power of your system in terms of vista vs xp the xp will be on top but if you got a high end rig go 4 vista, i use xp on mine, but 4 hardcore rigs... vista ultimate
