  • ad dance music this would go viral

  • what is scenting?

  • @MsTAYSHAUN He's just scenting the curtain, like how male cats will spray. :O)

  • My sugar glider's name is Pip too :D

  • @xEisley Oh awesome! One of my favorite names... :O)

  • looks like he's humping everything lol

  • @SommieReturns Lol, he practically was. :)

  • not dancing marking his turff wanting to breed

  • @lunnawulff069 I know he's scenting. If you read the description, you'll see that. ;)

  • they do smell sometimes, ive got 2, you just take them in the shower with you lol

(they know what your up to and can put up a fight) some mild shampoo ive used the one for dogs or cats and not had a problem

  • @bkktony Wow, I feel really sorry for your gliders. You NEVER bathe them, they're really clean animals and clean themselves. They only have a bad smell if they're on a bad diet or their cage/pouch isn't cleaned on a regular basis.

  • @kittykats06 hey ive done it 3 times in 2 years

they get over it and it makes them have a BIG clean of themselves

mini (my sugar) is really clean she goes into my bathroom (wet room ) to go to the toilet

all i have to do is spray down the room with water.

She is a lovely intellegent animal , i love her deeply

  • @bkktony I hope you're kidding. if not then you are an idiot.

  • is that a male

  • @AwesomeAssassin1000 Yes, he's a male. :)

  • To me it smell like maple with their scent. But cleaning every week or 2 work an won't stink. It dont bother me. I got male year and half old and new female Joey we just brought home last night. I'm holding her right now she sleeping. :). She a whiteface and male is standard gray. Not introducing yet til she matured :)

  • @jamberriesful Yes, cleaning their cage definitely helps. But you don't want to over clean, that will just make the males over scent. And I love that you're not introducing them yet. It's great to wait until the female is old enough. ;)

  • You know, if it glided off the shower curtain onto someone's head... they were going to get severely head-fucked.

  • @freakystyley4000 You're probably right. ;)

  • I WANT ONE

  • Comment removed

  • Silly question...but can they be spayed or neutered? Would that stop them from doing that? I really want one but not sure of the smell.

  • @chihualover That's not a silly question. And yes, the males can be neutered. I don't know of one vet that will spay a female, it's too risky. Cause gliders are marsupials, so the female has a pouch. I'm sure that just complicates things too much. A lot of people say they smell, but neither of my males have a smell at all. But, neutering your male will make him scent less and will cause his scent glands to go away. :)

  • @chihualover you should see if someone you know has some gliders first. The scent of the male is musky I don't even smell it in my house I have gotten used to it keep the cage clean and your good to go. You should get 2 gliders both should be the same sex and if they are males that are not related then you will have to let them get used to each other first. This may in fact not be the pet for you because they are messy eaters and they pee all over their cage.

  • @chihualover you wouldn't want to let them have contact with other animals. You may in fact just want a ferret or a small dog or cat to be honest. Sugar gliders are fun but they do not know how to swim and will drown. I do love my gliders just think you should consider all options and know what ur getting into. Plus in the usa they are exotic animals and not allowed in some states.

  • @chihualover they can be spayed/neutered and they dont smell :) they are very easy to take care of if u have the right info. cheap to feed to since they eat mostly sweets, i wouldnt give them candy though.

  • @screamostoner They're actually not super easy to care for or cheap. They need a balanced diet of fruits, veggies and a good protein source, like HPW or BML. ;)

  • he is a boy he is not dancing he is having sex

  • @generalaone With the shower curtain?

  • @kittykats06 Yeah mine humps the couch on occasion

  • Lol hes humping lol do they have sharp nails or bite ?

  • @BarBi3Skittles Well, if you don't trim their nails on a regular basis, they tend to get pretty sharp. As far as biting goes, they normally don't. Not saying they won't, cause I've been nipped a time or two. But that's mostly from me having something on my hand that smells good to them. ;)

  • @BarBi3Skittles So, that's a yes, and a yes : )

  • @BarBi3Skittles Yes, their nails are sharp if you don't keep them trimmed. And they can bite, but that all depends. Sometimes they bite if they're un-social, sometimes they bite to just taste and sometimes they bite if you have food on your fingers. ;)

  • I'm unsure of his age. We actually found him in a Wal mart. Some idiot lost him. He's quite the character. I wish I knew how old he was though. I know his diamond bald spot on his head gettable a little bigger with age as if he's an old man balding.

  • @gingercxnt Wow, someone really just dumped him off at Walmart? That's so crazy! Some people are just so stupid. If he has a pretty nice size bald spot, then he's at least 10 months. More than likely, he's a little older than that. Especially if his bald spot's getting bigger. At least you were able to rescue him. :)

  • @kittykats06 its probably not "dumped" people carrying their sugar glider in traveling pouches wherever they go because sugar gliders sleep mostly during the day and hate being alone or they get depressed so they take them with them rather in their pocket or a carrying pouch, some pouches are poorly made and have like velcrow and sugar gliders can easily get out of (which is why you buy zipper ones) the sugar glider could have simply jumped out when a person was shopping there.

  • @ArctusCanusLupus Yes, it's very true that one just escaped from a bonding pouch. I don't trust the velcro pouches either, they just seem too unsafe. I'm zippered whenever I have mine in a bonding pouch. The majority of the time, mine are in my bra so I don't have to worry about it.

  • That is so adorable! I've never seen my little fella do that. But your little guy has awesome coloring to him! He's so handsome!

  • @gingercxnt Aww, thanks. He's a little sweetie. How old is your glider? Some start out early and scent all the time, then some don't scent until they're about a year old. ;)

  • I'm really hooked on these animals.

Does that scenting leave a smell/odor?

  • @DeweyBrockman Not really. I mean, if he's going scent crazy, then you may be able to smell something. But usually there's no smell. ;)

  • that was not dancing it was just moving

  • @ninoj004 He's not just moving either, he's scenting. It's called a squaggle dance when they do this. ;)

  • there so cute though,i have wanted one for like 12 years now,but now i have cat and imnot sure how she would react to it,plus i hear that you cant just get 1 because they live in communities in the wild and they will get depressed and die if there alne ,and its just cruel,i would feel bad if i didnt get atleast 3

  • dancing,he lookslike hes humping that blanket not dancing lol

  • @bulletproof2353 Yeah, he does... ;)

  • ur sugar glider has amazingly cute markings

  • @brialeduke Thanks! :)

  • What a cute furry animal you have there :D

  • @maxeluria Thanks. They're really awesome little creatures. :)

  • you should have helped him get un-stuck
