8:43, the dragon's dialogue was apparently recorded and dubbed after the animation, because his lips never move as he talks.

My guess is that one of the writers thought that having the dragon quote Marlon Brando was a recipe for instant comedy, instead of an out-of-body gangrape of the audience's sanity.
