  • Even when this video came out, MTV was still showing music videos.

  • Man, they really should have gone this direction

  • fuck yea!! sugar ray old school is my fave music of all time, crazy ass cali white guyz, my style

  • Best album Sugar Ray did

  • Great song, great video but shitty quality...find a HQ version.

  • is this alternative rock?

  • Sugar Ray will let 22 people down.

  • was an epic album. one of those years later i had a song pop into my head and i spent days with it there eventually to look it back up n download the album ^_^

  • Good song. It should have got more play back when it first came out. It is a song I can't get out of my head. Andy

  • MUERTE A GAGA Y A BIEBER!!!!!!!

  • ESA SI ES MÚSICA ANGLO, PERO MÚSICA ANGLO DE VERDAD!!!!

  • Yeah my favorite band! They still rocked even after Fly. They didnt sell out bunch of ignorant punk critics. This is my 43rd favorite song

  • Eu procurava por esta música a anos... lembrava que seu nome era R.P.M, porém, não tinha certeza de qual era a Banda!

Porra, que som animal... me faz voltar em meados dos anos 90!

I was looking for this song for years ... remembered that his name was RPM, however, was not sure what the band!

Damn, that sound animal ... takes me back in the mid 90's!

  • @EduardoPapito Comigo era o contrario,lembrava o nome da banda mas não o da música! :D

  • Man I wish there alternative songs would have gotten the attention their pop songs got... Sugar Ray will always be one of my all time favorite bands Floored was one of my first cassette tapes and I loved nearly EVERY song on that tape!!!

  • the song 'Fly' does not represent these guys very well

  • reminds of rockefller skank of fatboy slim..

  • cuz the new albums are not the same!!! i really miss the "hard old days"....seems like they have become softer and softer each year.....SAD!

  • heavy shit!!! when sugar ray was good.....although he looks real cool on the karoke tv show!!! fuckin mark!!!!!!!! dont forget the lyrics jackass!

  • Gawd Mark use to be the hottest thing on the planet ; )

  • I love all their stuff. They went through radical changes, but Sugar Ray has never put out an album I didn't love.

  • this song rules

  • this was my favorite song when i was like 5 rotfl

  • Wow so that’s what mark mcgrath looked like with balls haha sellout.

  • @MrSamuelHill haha nice

  • @MrSamuelHill im kinda glad he did sellout . . . there other stuff is soooooooo chill . . . .

  • Espectacular el sonido de la guitarra

  • @TheRealScarr haha no one spelled it the french way back in the 80s you poser faggot.

    case closed

  • they were better off doing poppy shit, this is just horrible.

  • @dawsonscreek1000000 guess it's true, you really do need a brain to enjoy the good shit. Dawson's Creek's for morons BTW.

  • @TheRealScarr sugar ray is awful you idiot

  • This make me remember my school days and when I began to play guitar.!!!!!!!

  • I remember when I getting "Floored" when I was kid. I was more familiar with Sugar Ray's softer songs like "Fly","Every Morning" & "Someday." Then I hear the album and hear heavier tracks like this song and I'm thinking "HOLY SHIT! THIS IS AWESOME." And to all the people that say Sugar Ray sucked after this album, sure I like their heavier albums better, but those slower songs I mentioned earlier are actually good songs. Plus, they did a much better job at going mainstream than Linkin Park did.

  • VISIT SUGAR RAY'S NEW OFFICIAL BAND PAGE(RAN BY THE GUYS THEMSELVES) ON FACEBOOK! IT WON'T ALLOW ME TO POST THE LINK SO GO TO FACEBOOK AND SEARCH SUGAR RAY.

  • funny how people think that songs like "fly" define Sugar Ray and the 90s. check out the video for "fly" and look at the comments. they're filled with comments like "oh the 90s... good old times."

if only people knew this facet of Sugar Ray. the more extreme, insane... better side of sugar ray.

  • This better then alot of their radio shit

  • oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh mi mocosada la pase con este grupo buena buena eh

  • LOL they used to hang out with KoRn back in the day

  • forgot how good this song was. now all i hear is a bunch of gay ass korn-metal piss/shit.

  • i love this album!!!!!

  • this is a wicked song still kicks ass!

  • Sugar ray defined the 90's

  • @Tibixninja Seriously? are we forgetting about nirvana, pearl jam sublime, metallica tool, sugar ray was good back in the day, but not even close to defining the 90's

  • @pauljkeenan hey fag, all those bands you named sucked serious cocks. i saw them all live. they were just boring drone/stoner bands. fucking boring.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork i would say the 90s was too diverse to be influenced by only a few bands.

so many different styles were going on. some also might argue that nine inch nails(who were all over mtv and woodstock 94), green day, the offspring, etc were more influential, especially since grunge died so fast and punk-rock type stuff came back in vogue.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork

None of those bands are anything close to drone. At all.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork metallica sucked live, so did pearl jam, sublime was just boring reGAY fuckcrap, tool was a bunch of emo metal homos, etc

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork

you are stupid as fuck... maynard is one of the very best live singers. TOOL ROCKS.. the other things you said were true though

  • @Reaper9789 <-------FUCKING IDIOT,

maynard can't sing for shit. I've listened to tool a bunch of times, if you think that is singing then you don't understand the definition of harmonies.

Anyone can talk and sing atonal. Jonathan davis can't sing either. All of those fags suck shit through a straw.

    case closed

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork Eat shit and die posuer.

  • man he sucks

  • Ethan Hawke sings awesome :P

  • Wow!

  • Korn,Sugar Ray,fuck the world

  • SUGAR RAY ROCKED THE FUCKING HOUSE DOWN AND WERE WAY AHEAD OF THE TIMES THEN!

  • I'm glad to see people discovering the original Sugar Ray sound. Many "music buffs" at my bar haven't even heard of the Lemonade and Brownies album(check it out if you haven't). Sad to see they sold out their sound (balls) after this album. The stuff after this isn't bad, I just wouldn't be so mad if they didn't still call themselves Sugar Ray.

  • ...........YOU SUCK!!!!!!

  • Whoa! Can't believe this is Sugar Ray!

  • The only Sugar Ray song thats not embarrassing to be caught listening to

  • This Band is so fking Awesome!

  • This was the first record i bought with my own money in 7th grade

  • @dmesz311 to zakurwiście : D

  • @dmesz311 Actually me too! I forget what grade I was in tho

  • I find it really funny that this entire album is a lot harder music and then Fly becomes the single...

  • Reminds of the begging if speed parade by slashes snake pit

  • @JEH. True, but it was the commercial success of Fly that sparked them to "sell out." When they wrote this song they still kinda rocked. So this is pre-sell out era. Even on the tour for this album they crushed it. They were excellent live. But I totally agree that anything after this album is a load of rubbish.

  • Funny how people on here are saying this is good old Sugar Ray and not before they soldout with Fly. Ummmmm....FLY WAS ON THE SAME ALBUM AS THIS. On the following albums they tried to re-create Fly but RPM is from their biggest hit album all thanks to their breakout pop hit.

  • I FUCKING HATE THIS SONG!!!

  • @Idiocracy2040 someones been drinking early.....go beat the dog, and watch jerry springer

  • this video reminds me when MTV used to play good music.

  • @vfalcon79 Right...They probably turned it on one day, saw the real world marathons and said, "screw it...let's cash in with some soft rock and call it a day."

  • ..... I was not expecting this O____O I've been listening to al the 2000's shit. He has this stuff too? Hells yes!

  • how come every one thinks Sugar Ray is gay after these old albums?

  • @Nehi99 Because they are.

  • @barc0debaby No they're not. They even got popular once they changed. I'm a fan of new and old sugar ray. Don't call them gay because they are same people who made this song.

  • Comment removed

  • @Nehi99 because obviously, they don't know what good music is. they like this rap now.. rap is crap.. this is true talent! i agree 100% with you

  • @Nehi99 Because they started making pansy bubblegum rock that's why.

  • @Nehi99 because they are that's also why mark mgrath works on an entertainment nightly show

  • @Nehi99 because they are . anything after this album and even some songs on this album are crap.

  • @MissBoop88 then why the hell are you watching their videos!?

  • @MissBoop88 why? is it that you only like one genre of music.

  • @Nehi99 Thinks? Ever wach "Don't forget the lyrics"?..... Nuff said

  • that baby at the end of some of the phrases just sounds awkward.

  • Why does every say that only one Sugar Ray genre, can be good. I personally like all their various genres they span. Did you honestly expect them to keep producing music like this when it wasn't going to make them any money? The Police did the same thing in the 70s, giving up their hardcore punk image to be a more pop-reggae band.

  • saw em with goldfinger and save feris way back in the day. they were actually really good... if u could ignore the "omg i wanna have ur baby" 13 year olds

  • The "Floored" album was freakin' awesome. It's one of those rare CDs you can listen to all the way through.

  • before sugar ray got good***

  • before Sugar Ray went soft!

  • I always think of this song when I'm on my motorcycle!

  • Mark McGrath needs to have his man-card revoked.

  • I LOVED IT WHEN THEY USED IT FOR NASCAR BEST SONG

  • I like Speed Home California more.

  • I love getting into my car that is a stick and hop on the highway and blast this song!!!

  • I got my first lap dance to this tune. Ahhhh, the good ol' days!

  • Mark McGrath=most beautiful man on earth!!!!!!

  • Who's the chick in the vette?

  • I'm black

  • Comment removed

  • this is the REAL SUGAR RAY.....before they became gays.....shame.

  • Cool guys don't see explotions.. 3:00

  • The "Car" noise @ 2:42 sounds like a fart i had once.

  • @YargDisease Not a car- a bike...I'm guessing a yamaha?

  • @Kayonthebeach fart.

  • @YargDisease One time, i farted so hard, i literally flew across the room about four inches off the ground, and then i laughed so hard, I vomited. -______-

  • @YargDisease omg you made me laugh so freaking hard!!! :D

  • @alexarmstrong3 It really does sound like an awesome fat hahaha I used to love this song when i was a kid though.

  • sellouts

  • this was the only Sugar Ray song i liked

  • cool guys don't look at explosions

  • People never believe me when I play them early Lemonade/Floored shit that its Sugar Ray. I dont think they realize how great and fun the early shit was. How can a band sellout like that? Even with that I dont hate the more poppy stuff like 14:59, I can admit I like Every morning, but you take a listen to Someday, then go listen to Iron Mic or Rhyme Stealer and get back to me..

  • omg can't believe they did such a punk song!!!

    f**k I love it

  • @laFubina7 How is this punk in anyway shape of form? Its very different compared to sugers later songs but this is no punk tune.

  • ahhhh, the pre "fly" Sugar Ray, back when they made music and not garbage.

It's a shame I had to play Road Rash 3D/64 to hear some Sugar Ray that didn't suck.

  • this was truly sugar ray's halcyon days

  • I herd breathe 2 years ago and loved it, until then I never knew that Sugar Ray were a heavy band. Then I herd this and American Pig and I love listening to there heavy shit... I don't mind the song Every Morning but still I hope they dont ditch there heavy songs when playing live gigs like Silverchair have mostly done... Fuck being sell outs look at Slayer, Metallica, Machine Head, Foo Fighters and also when Panter were around they have stayed true to there roots...

  • @TrainBuffProductions I love American Pig, Their old days were amazing before mark found out he could sing :(

  • i prefer their classic beach rock side

  • Sugar Ray was original a heavy rock/punk/alternative band for all you fucking idiots that didn't know.

  • This is my absolute favorite SR song.

  • LOOOL i love this tune really funny sugar ray really kick my ass with this song awesome!

  • This and "When it's over are my 2 fav. Sugar R's songs!

  • theres songs make absoulety no sense but i love them

  • ahhhh, great tune from when sugar ray wasnt so damn vanilla.

  • omg i love dis song its their koolist song ever<33

  • This song is the reason why I bought the Floored CD. I love it when they have this music!

  • @DebraElaine9283 OMG! Same here!!!! Best song on Floored!!

  • Sugar Ray's first two albums were the best. Everything after that until the self-titled 2001 album was okay but then when "In the Pursuit of Leisure" came out Sugar Ray turned all surf music. I wish Sugar Ray would go back to being a Nu Metal/Punk band.,

  • i would say this would be their best nu-metal song and also my favorite, i always listen to this jam when im speeding in my car

  • Their last great Album was the self titled Sugar Ray...after that it went down to the boring stuff...to bad...

  • so strange tho isnt it how they completly changed genres so suddenly and didnt lose any memebers or change they jus stopped rappin and playing electric ther jus strait like island rock now its almost reggae numetal them sux srry to say

  • @seetheronthru1 When I was in high school I remember Mark McGrath talking on MTV, shortly after Floored came out, about making the song Fly and how it was just a joke, all of them hated it, then it went on to Top 40 stations and they sold millions of albums, they just all agreed to basically sell out.

  • @alscort93 no wonder they sold out they kinda suck this way this song and mean machine best heavy shit they ever dun ill tell u right now im glad they swiched luv metal and luv reggae but ther better as reggae

  • i tried to ape his hairdo back in 98 hahah good times

  • lol xD

  • It's too bad they never played anything like they did in this first album. Even after McGrath pussed out.

  • @33plissken this is their second album. their first album was a bit much heavier than this one

  • So gutted I missed Sugar Ray when they came to New Zealand back in about 1999/2000, would love to see RPM & Mean Machine live... someday... The more mainstream style on later albums all good too.

  • lmfao so strange, so 90s

  • Dont care how much ass did they sucked later on, this is a great song, you can play this to anyone and they may like it or not but they willl pay attention to it... and you cannot take this away from them! I had a band a couple of years ago and we all choosed 3 songs to play & start jamming (yes I we had a dj on the line up) so one of mine was RPM.3 of the guys went -crap! sugar ray! u nuts? -- then they listened to the song...and still say after-- cool, but still sugar ray....bollocks to that!

  • Manic, fuck yes.

  • this album came out in 1997 i was 4 years old and i loved the song fly. so did my mom. she thought it was a good idea to buy the album for me. when she heard heard all the other stuff on the album she totally freaked out LMAO

  • I just realized Lit pretty much just tried to duplicate Sugar Ray's image, sound, antics, etc. Of course Lit cant compare, but...

  • ¡¡¡¡Maximum speed!!!!

  • if you`re a bassist that lives in toms river, post me.

  • I LUV I LUV I LUV I LUUUUV THIS SONG

  • good song.

  • great song...

    from chile...

  • Its kind of impressive how far they have fallen.

  • Whoa! Whoa! Sugar Ray used to sound like this at one point?! I might have to give Mark McGrath his "street cred" back... maybe lol

  • @CheFoo10 I am ok with whatever mark mcgrath does cause sugar ray rocked it with some of the best metal bands in the 90s, hes earned an easy road now.

  • @dilated123 The same. Because 'Floored" came out a couple of weeks after I was born, and because I love the song Fly, I don't give a fuck if their last album was really slow. I love this band too much. Besides, if they make another album, it could have the potential to kick ass!

  • @CheFoo10 Check out the Sugar Ray cd "Lemonade and Brownies". It's pretty damn good.

  • @CheFoo10: Yeah - this album was eclectic as all hell. Although, it contained the "Fly" song which was probably the cause of how their later albums ended up.

  • @Lunarsight Feel bad for the people that loved this bad for Mean Machine and RPM because what a let down the ablums were after floored.

  • @CheFoo10 Yeah, first album was amazing, all hard rock. Second album was also very good except for that lame I just want to fly song. Than that song had mainstream success and operation sellout occurred.

  • haha, i had this CD when i was like 6 and i finnaly looked it up on YT, this video was sooo much different than i imagined! I also think it was the first song i memorized besides the alphabet and twinkle twinkle ect. *Favorited*

  • Great Song, great Guitar playing!

  • This band sold out worse than (but more successfully i think) than any band ive ever seen! Love the heavier stuff .. think the college radio commercially successful tunes SUCK =)

  • ohh ya, I agree. Big Black Woman, Rhyme Stealer, Caboose, Cash, American Pig.. true Sugar Ray classics.

  • Nice, they should do some more heavy stuff. Is this song tuned in drop D?

  • i think so ;)

  • this reminds everyone how awesome Sugar Ray was back in the day....oh yeahhhhh. so breathe........

  • wow this is so different from what they usually play mellow kick back type of songs lol

  • cash is the best

  • I was like 14 when this song came out. I was in 7th grade. I can distinctly remember playing this song as well as the rest of the album with my buddy Rob playing Destruction Derby 2 on Playstation...the original one. I remember I couldn't beleive this was Sugar Ray, since I was raised on ZZ Top and Metallica and Judas Priest. This shit is, was, and always will fuckin rock the hizz-ouse!

  • Raised on Metallica, and you say Hizz-ouse. HAHAHA.

    XD

    Just kiddin'.

  • I grew up on this album in my dads challenger, Fucking good no matter what anyone says

  • There are only 4 songs off this disc that are any good.

Lemonade and Brownies is their best album. They shit the bed after that one.

  • Floored was an awesome album. Any of their albums after that weren't even on the same level. Speed Home California, Cash, American Pig, all kick ass songs.

  • Sugar Ray can hit hard when they want

  • JOELFLG, you sound like your 13. Go tell somone who cares. this is youtube.

  • Comment removed

  • Too bad, brat.

  • dio caro, il cd di cova

  • I can't bear the way they play nowadays

  • 9O`s BUT LEAVING GRUNGE HABITS .

  • this was a great song in the 90s. If any of you guys are a big 90s fan and have a facebook account then go to facebook and look for an argument 90s or 80s. Metallica and nirvana against guns n roses and ac/dc. Not just about the music by the way

  • Or your mother vs your sister.

  • this song is like the one song sugar ray did that was like rage music. is funny, they went way off their normal ska-whatever you wanna call it style.

not really sure what their style was since it reminds me of ska, but also
