First verse :--The Lord greatly compassionate for the welfare of all living beings having fulfilled all the perfections attained by Himself the highest Bodhi; by the speaking of this truth, may you be blessed with victory.
Except he did not believe in an atman or any type of "self" or "soul" like Hindus did, and he also opposed the hindu caste system entirely. So he historically he was a bit of a radical in his time and culture.
well he ws a reformer he wanted to reform hinduism and he condemned what was wrong hindu caste system ws stupid as far as the soul part goes i dunno whetehr he ws right on tht but he did take various hindu percepts lik karma, rebirth, reincarnation, samsara from hinduism into buddhism,he took the good parts of hinduism rejected the wrong parts and strted his own belief but as such early buddhism ws hindu in its origin and ws an offshoot of hinduism
Then the Blessed One addressed the monks, "Now, then, monks, I exhort you: All fabrications are subject to decay. Bring about completion by being heedful." Those were the Tathagata's last words.
2 not thing in this world is real.. just comes remain for while and then goes..so it is mean all body when happen and then will diapear..if you would like to know the resl test of dramma you would have to try and practis yourself. buddha gave us map and we have to use it...sadhu sadhu sadhu
The first noble truth by the Buddha was "Suffering Exists" meaning that suffering is real. The Buddha existed in the utmost compassion towards other living beings and attained enlightenment and then taught people how to be free from their REAL suffering through hard work. Maybe all things are impermanent, but if we say they are not real then we ignore our real potential to be free from suffering and help others do the same.
the most important is to feel youself at the present of mind and body movement..that is vipassana meditation..do not care about language my dear.. do not forget that last thing that buddha said before die.. make it to your mind before chanting ..with love.. to all of us annimal in the world of lies.... sadu..sadu..sadu..
not trying to say anything bad but most thai monks say there chants in thai but we always say it sanskrit the original language of the indian language
Thai and Khmer Buddhists use Pali, not Sanskrit. Pali was the language spoken by the people and Sanskrit the language of the monks and court, but Buddha chose Pali. Khmer chanting sounds different probably because of Khmer accent make it easier to pronounce Pali than for Thai monks.
The Buddha actually spoke a dialect called Magadhi, it wasn't until hundreds of years later when monks started writing scriptures in Pali that Pali was used from Buddhist liturgy,
Thank you very much for posting these Theravada Buddha Pali chanting as Paritta and Pali morning/evening praying so I can listen every day to relax my soul/mind.Thank you again, this is the first time I found Theravada Buddha chants I 'm so much happy and pray with when I turn on this video. With metta to you.
After much searching I finally found the style of chanting I was looking for. I'd found it once before and slept to it quite often. I am very thankful to have found your video. Take care and farewell.

Do you think that the Buddha used magic words or chants to clear the obstacles of the mind or do you think he used diligent meditation?
