this is michael, i thought it wasn't him but it is. i read that rockwell (the son of Berry Gordy), that made the song, secretly wanted michael to sing on his music, for more advertising (it was in 1984, after thriller). Jackson was just supposed to make the chorus, with a lot of other singers, and Rockwell cheated taking his voice out of the chorus, then the song seemed to be a duet (don't know if you understand me)
