however bug your cage is , I noticed you have a mesh floor, the floor for Degus should be solid otherwise they will get bumble foot. which can lead to serious conditions. That's why proper cages for Degus have solid flooring.

Such a young pup. Where is the other one?.... Please put some boards in the bottom of that cage.. A Degu should have a solid flat floor with a covering of hay. Wire like that will cause Bumble Foot!

If you want to know what that is walk around on a loose stone chip driveway in bare feet.

Then think about how your Degu feels as you recover with your feet in bandages.

A Degu cant ues a walking stick!

Degus should never be kept alone, they should always be housed in pairs or groups.

If you google flying saucer wheel you can buy them of the manufacturers website, but they are £65. I think I'll just stick with a Wodent Wheel

yeah it does, although it does seem a good idea for chins tho. Theres also a cute vid of 2 chinese hamsters or sumthing on youtube on one and they go proper at it. tho they still get their legs pulled round abit they do seem to enjoy it... both of them could fit on too :\ depends on the animal i guess but its defo good for chins.

Please don't keep degus alone and in too little cages (Minimum two degus in cages with minimum 1meter lengh, 1meter high and 0,6meter weight) They'll thank you.

What makes you think that I have only one degu in a small cage? I have two in a large cage!! The other degu was very shy hiding somewhere in the top level of this cage which is not shown. Check out my other videos which show more of the cage.
