I think the reason this game appeals to so many is the fresh environments and the fact that you don´t really have to kill anyone. Plus, the game feels so physical it pulls you in. No other game can simulate movement near as well as Mirrors Edge.

Honestly, I feel this game's awkward fist vs gun combat and occasional getting lost were were minor hitches in what was a powerfully atmospheric and awesome adventure, where the levels were immensely well designed, the art style was magical and the music was dreamy and awesome, especially this track from a level so memorable that it's what I'll never forget the game for

Ya know like when you stare out your window at night watching the city and thinking / dreaming about stuff, this is the song that would be playing in the background. It fits the feeling of the city in Mirrors Edge so well. Anyway I love looping this song when I'm working on something (like now I'm writing an essay)

Music is very atmospheric as well.

I love how the shard looks and nobody knows how tall it is but i think it

definitely at least 500m.

The glass elevator sequence really showed of the height of the building.

By the looks of the shard i think the game set in 2020 maybe in the late

2010s.

Great game!! I swear it has to have the best texture quality I've ever seen in a game (at least on the pc version). I usually found myself just staring at the wall in amazement. Great game, great immersion, great graphics, great soundtrack. This game and metro 2033 have to be my recent favorites. if you haven't tried metro 2033..... do it. Same reasons apply. If you loved the mirrors edge OST, you'll also love the metro ost ;)

@Fresh0nline The people that made the music in Mirrors Edge, are actually a group called Solar Fields, they play down tempo ambient trance or ambient electronic music. There are many groups like them. Check out Sundial Aeon(my favorite) and carbon based lifeforms along with solar fields.
