I thought I was the only one who did not find McIntyre funny at all. Still it puzzles why his audience is laughing hysterically at his inane and pointless jokes and why he is so widely popular in the UK. He is one of the rather few standups who bores me. I've tried to give his DVD's a chance several times, but it's usually 20 minutes of staring at the screen without even a discrete smile until I finally give up.

I love Michael McIntyre, I like his clean humour and the way that he doesn't need to swear or be obscene to make people laugh. I think he's more talented than most modern comedians and I also think that his comedy is more intelligent than most modern humour. Making so many people laugh just by telling them things that happen in ordinary life requires talent I think.
