I had never heard this version of "When the ship comes in" before. What is the official name of the band which is singing ? I cannot find them and I really like this version.

The Hillmen album was recorded in '63-'64 but not released until a couple years later after Chris Hillman became well known as a member of the Byrds. The real name of the band that recorded the Hillmen album was the "Golden State Boys" which was Vern and Rex Gosdin, Don Parmley and Chris Hillman. I agree.. it's a great album! :)
