@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED I take it you are up near Marysville, I am right in edmonds so I can pick up KCSO southeast air and sometimes on a clear night Pierce County East air
@jsk1818 Very cool. Yeah Arlington here. I get Snopac solid, snocom is okay, King Co/Seattle at night is doable but need a good antenna. I get Skagit stuff clear, but not nearly as active as Sno/King.
@everettradioman I do. I have all the talkgroups in my scanners. Issue with where I live I have to set up a couple scanlists- one w. the west simulcast control channel so I can get Everett and SnoCom stuff, and a "north" scanlist w/ all other CC's active.
@TheDan4279 Yeah I use a few different patterns for different talkgroups- makes it nice when you look up and can immediately determine if it's fire, police, SAR or whatever it might be.
@S1NNER48 Lol yeah, I had an icom R10 "unblocked" version back then.. man those were some good times. I wish I would have recorded some of those calls. :)

@kimdaviscali The cool thing about the the GRE is you can program the activity light to any preference you want, steady, on/off, strobe...
I personally think the PSR 800 pulls in the trunk systems (like snocom) slightly better.

Your reception for Sers/SNOCOM is not that great but sounds like SNOPAC is crystal clear for you.

@jsk1818 Yep when I'm at home it's a stretch to bring in the SnoCom stuff, but it works. King Co is really tough from here.

I remember back in the day when cellphone signals were analogue not digital it was possible to listen in to some amazing soundbites.
