not everyone has a car with a Aux input, nor do they want to spend $200 on a console that does and then have to install it. Logic. - My only concern with this device is the bass in the car.
How is the quality? I have experienced enormous amounts of static, and it seems a number of people on the internet have this same problem, with no known solution. Is there a specific model we need to use? What stereo/receiver are you using? Could it be that your location is less urban than mine (Savannah, GA) and that you have greater station availability?

I have Flip Mino myself, and yes, I agree the video quality is really bad. I wished that I spent more for a regular camcorder...lol
