  • I am playing a different version of this piece here really soon. I hope I can play this this well. I went to state in Kansas last year, and I'm hoping to go again. She did a great job!!! :)

  • @missduckyyyy Good luck!

  • I really need to get this piece of music for my own solo, where did you buy this piece

  • Nice music!

  • what state are you guys from? and how old is katie? thanks!

  • Usually, the State of Confusion, and Katie's old enough to know better. :-)

  • uhh haha ok. i was just wondering cause i'm about to do solo and ensemble and wanted to know like the levels and expectations of different states so i can better prepare

  • @Thunderflower367 Those are questions too personal to answer here. Thanks for your interest, though.

  • this video was posted 1 day be 4 my birthday :D

  • Really? Just for you! Happy Birthday! Well, back then...

Yeah, right. Well, just a strange coincidence,

    but thanks for listening.

  • Brava! Well played!

  • My, I haven't visited much lately, but I'm glad you did. Thanks for listening!

  • I'm playing this song for Solo/Ensemble next year. She did a great job! Hope I do well! lol

  • Good luck!

Katie got a 2 this year, but she was in a duet that took a 1. She goes to state in a month or so.

    Have fun playing.

  • hey, great job katie.

i'm playing this piece this year.

maybe you can give me some pointers in band class someday.

i really needed to hear how it went, thanks for posting.

    congrats! =]

  • Thanks for listening. Are you in Katie's class?

Let the emotion come out through it and you'll do well. It's a wonderful piece to work with.

  • yea.

im courtney marble, im a freshmen clarinet.

    thanks for the heads up/info.

and hahaha about that song. =]

  • i missed this one - and it's a good one!

my wife played clarinet back in the days before I met her. her mother and sister are professional classical musicians but inspired Rowan to play bass guitar. her mother still struggles to see electric guitars as real instruments!

  • haha! Yes, we do choose our preferences with prejudice at times, especially with musical tastes! I still think "Rap Music" is an oxymoron, myself.

    Thanks for checking in!

  • this piece sounds good on a clarinet. I'd heard guitar and piano arrangements, but never clarinet. I like. :)

  • I'm glad that you like. Thank you for stopping by!

  • I like how youtube makes you listen to all kinds off music, when you look for something, and in the search you come across something like this. I really enjoyed listening to this!

  • I'm so grateful that you took the time to listen and to comment. Thank you!

We are very proud of our girl, and hope she will go far, never letting go of her musical abilities.

Please come back soon for her Summer Piano Recital numbers.

  • Wow, Ken's right; she's quite a talent!

  • And I've never been able to get video of her on Bass Clarinet, which she plays in Concert Band.

Thank you so much for listening, Curt.

  • the song is good i play it in my band class alot

  • Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy band as much as I did. Marching band was the best -- in my opinion.

  • yep marching band is cool

  • No, Maqrching Band is WAYcool.

  • That was beautiful! She's quite talented multi-instrumentally.

  • She's another Grace from God, in my opinion. She's way beyond where her Mom and I were able to go musically. I only ever had to deal with 3 fingers at a time and be able to spit on any instrument I played. :-)

  • Very nice.

  • And so are you for saying so. Thanks for watching.

  • the camera angle was just right for me. didn't have my V8 today...

you daughter is very talented. sounds great. i've been told i'm windy but i don't think they were suggesting i take up clarinet.

  • Yes, I always wondered why my Grandmother complained about the winds on perfectly still days.

  • lol!

  • lol!

  • I'm sorry to say, but it's actually by Beethoven, not Bethoven.

Anyway, it sounds pretty good. Well performed. Wish Katie the best of luck!

  • I'm sorry that you're sorry to say it -- I appreciated the correction, and have updated the description. Forgiven, I hope?

  • Of course you're forgiven, you're a good man, so how could I not forgive you?

Best of luck to you too :P

  • Strangely, Beethoven is spelled right in my Videos list, but the actual video page still has it wrong.
