@richadNtexas UGH! Why would you ask dat question? It's driving me insane. This song is getting very few 'hits" so chances are slim somebody will chime in with the answer. I know this song and it's some old classic but I just can't put my finger on it. Gonna put it on Facebook and try to find some "working" brain cells.
@9thWardJukebox Aaah, I found it! McKay's sax man copied it from Lee Allen on Huey P. Smith's version. It is from a real classical song - Humoresques by Dvořák in 1894. There are examples of it here on YouTube. I like the N.O. rock sound much better.
