@ererye this rooftop concert is historical for obvious reasons but is far from the best thing they ever did imo. songs like yesterday and strawberry fields forever are masterful compositions, and things like she loves you are just great pop songs that were far more exciting than anything anyone had ever heard before at the time. this video is hardly a showcase of the best works of the beatles - this was a difficult time for them, the beginning of the end.

God, these guys changed my life. From the moment my mother gave birth to me, I have been listening to them. Actually that's the only genuine thankfulness I have for my mother-- that she exposed me to such good 60s music, haha. She didn't even know much about Beatles because she wasn't into "pop" music during her teen years (in the 60s). But she knew their music because they were unavoidably popular =) Weird that I know more details about them than my mom though!

It appears cops told Evans to tell the beatles to turn it down, George shakes his head NO, it gets turned down, George looks back, John notices nada from his guitar and stops playing and turns around, George cranks it up and steps on something a couple of times???
