I do not use acrylic, and , of course the technique is different! I know : acrylic, you blink-blink and its dry already, no blending available! Oil is much more easier at this point!
what would happen if you tried to paint this in acrylic? ive never used oils before. im asuming you wouldnt really be able to do this in acrylic cause it would dry too quick and you wouldnt get the effects? am i right?
Thank you so much for sharing you talent with us budding artiest's! We are both retired and first time in our life finding the time to paint. We are really not that interested in selling any paintings but very interested in doing the paintings and doing them well. Without you giving us your advice and time we would never be able to find teachers of your quality in our area of the woods. So you have become our savior! Thank you so much for giving us this chance to really learn from the best!!
Great video and thanks for uploading these tips. I have mastered or sort of lol...many aspects of shadows and skin painting but the eye's are by far the most difficult and are what add's life to the painting. Your tutorial is definetly going to help me solve that last bit of the puzzle! I can't wait to try these tips in my newest painting thanks so much...;)
Nuevamente gracias!
You can do eather one: wait for the painting to dry and then put highlights,in this case if you don't like the highlight -you can simply wipe it of and try it again. I personaly do both - when you put highlight on a wet painting the paintings absorb and blend together provide interesting effect, so you can try both.Good luck!
did you wait for the paint to dry to add the high lights and low lights or did you do it all at once? i'm in a beginning painting class and its the first time i'm painting people, so what you have shown in this video is very helpful
Nice work but may I say I like to paint or draw the face not that I can not I am just now in love with what is behind the face and eyes the soul.but now I may have run out of soul so will paint a face will see you do first many times.
I don't like thin paint I prefer thick, thick paint and more focus on expressionism than realism. Well done but not my style. I'm a self-taught artist and agree with breaking the rules in art rather than be taught what colours to use and whatnot. Ok for amateurs. Once you have mastered the art of realism you soon get bored with it. Just my opinion.
Maravilhoso!!!Gostaria de saber quais cores utilizadas para obter o tom de pele, sua sombra, boca e os olhos verdes con toques de castanho????Beijosss....
@ELJCqUaCkErSmAd For the eyes "underpainting" I usuallu use just very little of yellow ochre, jus take a cloth and rub into eye area, it will bring glow and warmth to the any color of the eyes.
You are beautiful! :)
