Long distance is ok to get a base, but if you haven't been injured you probably have a base already so then you should concentrate more on sprints/interval type training.

personally, I think it's great you're able to do pullups. But I wouldn't think about it, like just play sports a lot, I used to do maybe 3 -4 hours a day because I'm an only child and I stayed at my mom and dad's restaurant all day. Obstacle courses, football (passing and receiving), basketball, baseball, roller skating, and biking is great. I feel it was incredibly beneficial to me personallly. Just watch out for the INTENSE tan you'll get from 3-4 hours daily.
Rest is always important like he said, remember; 9 - 10 hours a night. And don't forget to make sure your getting your 64 oz. of water a day. That will help A LOT.
