  • this one is funny

  • wow lol pancakes and cereal and steak and potatoes worked for him? That's not good for you at all.

  • pancakes, steak and potatoes - the absolute opposite of nutrition. hilarious.

  • @Trigunflame Protein. Build Muscle

  • @Trigunflame if he eats 95 lean 5 fat steak its not bad. you need fat in your diet. potatoes are good if you use an alternative to table salt, butter, sour cream etc. pancakes themselves have roughly 300 calories (less depending on the size), less than grams of fat and 8-10 grams of protein and the daily value is 50g protein. they are only bad when you cover them in butter and syrup. this man is the greatest basketball player to date i think he knows his way around the kitchen. no disrespect.

  • @eyeofthetiger444 less than 2 grams of fat*

  • Steak and patada. Lol so black(:

  • @oscar5mj23 haha thats that nothe cayolonna accent

  • i like steak and patada

  • steak and potatoes every game day from now on. #LikeMike

  • Eat Bacon everyday

  • Does MJ have a basketball conditioning video where he showing how to workout? I think I want to do conditioning as my workout.

  • PANCAKES AND FRENCH FRIES!

  • good

  • nice pose

  • au fait qu esce k il a dit a propos de nutrition

  • I'm into bodybuilding not basketball but what he is telling us is completely true.

  • If MJ was president, americans would lose weight

  • @success2life which is why he made commercials for pepsi, and all those big corporations

  • I am 6'2 but icant dunk HELP!!!

  • @101Frankenstein u weak af

  • @101Frankenstein ether you are too fat xD or too small vertical leap... :D

  • LOL i thought jordan was going to say eat vegetables and shit hahaha

  • how tall are you ?

    is 5'10 good for basketball?

  • Guys, i have tried everything and found some

useful ways to grow taller. Email me.

  • @YyJoBb you dont need to be tall, and 5'10 is pretty tall, so you dont need to be taller

  • okkk lol

  • hey anyone feel short? here is the solution

" Helpo Growth Formula " it worked for me....

  • i wonder who the "1" person is who disliked this...lol

  • steak and potaeta!!! yummm. he likes the same thing i like

  • "steak and potata" lol I love him!!

  • Cannot believe MJ didn't say eat yo Wheaties instead of just "cereal" @ 1:13!

  • What's the best kind of endurance conditioning for basketball?

Running, Jump rope, or stair climbing?

  • @Mikethegreatester I'd say jump rope or stair climbing.

  • @Mikethegreatester Sprints always work. Any kind of interval work because that's what most of basketball is. Your heart has to be able to take that kind of abuse. Long distance is ok to get a base, but if you haven't been injured you probably have a base already so then you should concentrate more on sprints/interval type training.

Most important though? Play basketball. A good player will always beat a good athlete.

  • @75samuel75 so just do sprints about the size of the basketball court about 5x. sprint and then stop and sprint back to the starting place and then stop? or is long distance jogging better for basketball?

  • @Mikethegreatester u wanna be good do all three

  • jordaN VS LEBRON

  • If you look closely it's like only MJ's head is moving.

  • @morrisonfan911 woahh thats like weird looking

  • Lmao look at his face when after he says steak and potatoes, at that moment you can see his mouth water and he gets a little happy. Oh black people.

  • @timfosho hahahahahah my thoughts exactly at 1:35, so that must be why black people regularly lick their lips when saying something satisfactory, they subconsciously associate the satisfaction of speech with the gratification of food (since both involve the mouth and the tongue), apart from the cultural behaviour that has evolved into. But usually MJ is smart enough to stay away from that tic.

  • I'm surprised that Mike ate steak and potatoes. There are better sources of protien and carbs that are not only higher quality, but also take less energy to digest. Also, what about raw superfoods?

  • hahaha why does it matter...?

  • @OrbitalHUB care to elaborate? raw foods are largely less digestible than cooked. Yes, in isolation steak has a lower protein quality (bio-availability x digestibility) than other foods (egg has the highest quality of protein for a whole food) but beef still largely provides the balance of amino acids required by man. If you then combine the beef with the amino acids provided by potatoes the overall protein supply from that meal is excellent. What raw superfoods would you have him eat?

  • @OrbitalHUB

what about food as not only a source of nutrition but also having many other impacts i.e. on your psyche. for example the joy of tasting good gives you a good feeling/makes you happy/is satisfactory. humans are no robots. mind body and soul need equal care.

  • @kingjamessolja

How do you know his normal everyday vernacular isn't like this? Why do you doubt him? Simply because he's black?

  • ill teach you fools how to play basketball

  • steak and potatoes thats all im eating for the rest of my life

  • lol you need some fruits and vegs.

  • Forget stake and potatoes. I eat crawfish and corn before game time.

  • hi, mj is my idol. i have his chacago bulls #23 jersey. he is the best player ever. i wanna be just like

him. but, i need to work on my abs. anyone got good ab excercises?

  • @Potjack123456 abs is not a big requirement for basketball

  • Abs are not a requirement for anything. Core strength however is. It improves your balance and your jumping ability.

  • Core strength is more important than Abs. It is complicated to explain the dynamics of the Abdominal, but stuff like Pilaties are great for core strength which will improve balance things like that.

  • Hulkamania4eva from wat i know the abs are an important part of ur core......... corect me if im wrong xD

  • The abdominal, the muscles at the front does very little. The 6 pac, but it is the other muscles that make up your abdominal behinds the 6 pac, that is important.

I'm not an expert, but when I injured my back, i did Pilate and part of my rehab, was a ultrasound. An ultrasound, to see past the 6 pac and to see the inner muscles. That is the part you use for balance, jumping etc.

  • u wanna be just like him but u wanna work on ur abs??? dont u mean ur shot? or ur hops? or driblles..speed???

  • good point..

  • lol

  • why do u think tht in pros a lot of ppl can shoot threes even centers its cuz they workout they lift weights thats how some some right handed ppl r really good at left handed lay ups its cuz they workout if ur right handed just try to throw a football with your left and then tell me how hard it is thats why u see a lot of ppl working out in the nba instead of running 2-3 mi a day

  • @afg4yfe01 well you cant if you're fat, that is why he is talking about nutrition and strength.

  • these vid was uploaded in my birthday haha....LOL.

  • STEAK N POTATOES!!! YUMMEH!!! that's my kind o' meal, mr. MJ sir!

  • Ideally you want to eat 6-8 small meals throughout the day.

  • not more than 6 !

  • @ImDaManAy why a strict rule? just eat regular meals to help balance blood sugar levels and provide ample opportunities to replenish glycogen. eating more than 6 would not have any bearing if the same number of calories were consumed; just eat slightly less in each meal.

  • no, its steak and patada.

  • Now this is what I don't understand.

MJ works out everyday and he's ripped.

Kobe works out 6 times a week and he's ripped.

The experts ALWAYS say to have 48 hours of rest between heavy workouts.

And then I like at the NBA...

    I don't get it.

  • working out everyday but different muscles.

  • There are numerous variables in resting time. It isn't so black and white.

  • Between Heavy workouts, he didnt say he does heavy workouts everyday, you do conditioning, as in running mostly and mix in the work outs probably bout 4 times a week..and also of what wintercoolhi said

  • YEAH! pull ups r great for u to start out at ur age. dnt start lifting weights tho.

  • totally true!

  • personally, I think it's great you're able to do pullups. But I wouldn't think about it, like just play sports a lot, I used to do maybe 3 -4 hours a day because I'm an only child and I stayed at my mom and dad's restaurant all day. Obstacle courses, football (passing and receiving), basketball, baseball, roller skating, and biking is great. I feel it was incredibly beneficial to me personallly. Just watch out for the INTENSE tan you'll get from 3-4 hours daily.

  • its cool to work out with your own weight and like mike says let your body recover cause thats when your muscles grow + god nutrition

  • of course, lifting weights can come later but basic pushups and pull ups are always great conditioning methods

  • shteak and patata taste delcious

  • what shoes is that?

  • Rest is always important like he said, remember; 9 - 10 hours a night. And don't forget to make sure your getting your 64 oz. of water a day. That will help A LOT.

  • nice shoes
