i'm getting my white husky in a week! can't wait!!! my friend is moving for schooling purposes and can't bring him along so we are taking him in for her . we are expecting a shit load of howling for the first couple of weeks since they are pack animals and she is his pack, but will surely come around eventually hehe

This one looks just like my lil "Sapphire"...she is no longer with me sad to say, she died 2 years ago & I still miss her terribly. She actually rode on my horse WITH me! BUT, I DO have another Husky...she is Silverish & long haired.We live in Montana where it stays cold for most of the year, especially THIS one! So, Ayla has not even started shedding YET, & it is June 1st! As long as it remains cool, shedding is delayed! :D

Most dogs shed to some degree. I think if you are worried about it though short haired dogs will be best and some like poodles don't shed at all (don't dismiss the poodle because they are kept by air headed people who like to die them pink and god knows what. They are nice looking dogs when they aren't clipped and also highly intelligent).

siberian huskys make great pets,color isn't important unless it matters to you. these dogs do need a lot of attention. like any pet you will get out, what you put into it.
