Well people never take account how hot your room is.Pc's need to be ran in rooms around 70 degrees unless it has good cooling.This would apply to consoles as well since their justjust stock cooling.If you were to mod your ps3/360 with a better cooling solution then a hot room would't be a problem.Plus not every system is the same their can be defects in the hardware.My room stays between 70-75 my Ps3 gets warm still but thats going to happen just make sure to keep you system dust free.

@hailTHEfail Well my slim is very quite the blu ray drive only makes a slight sound if it loads, but if u have anything running in ur room fan,sound anything it masks the blu ray loading sound.

Much of the noise of a console is due to the "sound box" effect of the casing. The fan is also more efficient without case

hey you knw the sound 0:30 I get that same sound when I put in my used Modern Warfare 2 game in and it keeps making that sound when I play online. Is the sound from the drive or is my slim messed up?

get batman arkham asylum I just beat that game and It's defiantly worth the $38, it took me 12 hours to beat the story but it'll last a lot longer to beat all the challenges and get all the trophies.

If you're beeming it 60ft, through walls and whatever else you're still going to have a weak signal and bad latency.

Get a wireless repeater, stick it half-way between the PS3 and router, it'll improve things a lot :)
